I met a few people on Zoosk. However, most that contact me are spamming, fraudulent accounts, foreign people that try to con me into sending money. However, I HAVE met more in Zoosk than anywhere else.

Zoosk requires a subscription to read messages. One of the women I “liked” sent me a message. Thought I would subscribe with the opportunity to meet someone. So I spent $30 for a one month subscription. Her message said “auto reply on fyi ..blah blah blah. thank you for your message”. Waiting for a refund.

Update - 3 times I’ve contact support and no answer. 1 star they are worth 0 stars, worse customer support. This app/service is crawling with 1 photo accounts which I suspect are fake, they are constantly matching with you and frankly it’s a waste of time. I contacted support as to why isn’t there a better filtering experience, e.g. only display profiles with more than 1 photo or profiles with photos that are verified, never got a reply. The price you pay is not worth the trouble in my opinion—furthermore being a paid subscriber-only allows you to message while for all other perks you have to pay more money. The interface is mediocre, and currently, there’s a bug where you always see a connection but the screen is blank which hasn’t been fixed in quite a while and to the developers fix your link interactions, I've seen the mobile (website) version take over when visiting the support section—Funny thing is that interface looks better and FYI a lot of the 5 star reviews are over 2 years old and no refunds, better apps with better prices out there.

This app is absolute dog. They ask you to filled out information and add photos, yet every single time the app closes, none of that is saved and will ask you to consistently “complete your profile”. I have a brand new iPhone, this is purely a poorly made app that is nothing but frustration. Move on to an app that will actually work.

I don’t have the answer, but Zoosk needs to find a way to monitor and prevent fake accounts. It’s ridiculous.

I received a message and attempted to reply. However, you have to subscribe for at least a month before you can send your reply to a message you received from your match. I can understand having to pay for sending messages to others, but we’ve already matched. Why the charge now?!?
