Great idea, mediocre execution
Nightcrawler135

The run walk drills are great...when they work. The run intervals (15,30,45 seconds, etc.) are often cut off far too early and make it difficult to keep track of how long to run.

No run interval
Ndaind didnsisn

I had the app a while ago and loved it. However, the running intervals are non existent. Went to the first episode with intervals and it just told me to walk the entire time. People have been complaining about it for awhile and this 5 star app has gone down to one star. It should really be fixed soon.

Requires you to let them connect to your Apple Music
nyacgt

I didn't let the app connect to Media Player so it wouldn't let me run any courses. I only have 5 songs in my iTunes library and I don't want to listen to those 5 over and over. I'm deleting this app. I'll just use RunKeeper with interval tracing enabled. It connects to your Spotify.

Good stuff

I like how personalized the narration is; the acting is great and it really feels like they're talking to you directly. The exercise is the perfect difficulty level, too. I think this is the longest I've stuck with a fitness program app.

Love, love, love this game!
Mmmmcheese

I used to joke that I would only run if something was chasing me- and that's still true! This app has actually made me love running. Love the new update and love the storyline!

Aaaaaaaaaand it crashes upon opening.
hangdogger

Can't even open it to send a report... It just keeps on crashing the moment I try to open. It

Fun but buggy
DinosaurPancakes

I've had the audio cut itself off more than once and there's currently no way to replay the unlocked audio tracks to hear what I've missed. This is a pretty big flaw in an app built on telling a story. It's really inconvenient that the only way to hear story elements that I've missed is to do the entire mission over again and I'm not really willing to give up another 50 minutes just because the audio bugged out.

Good prequel to get in shape for the big app
johnlott

I initially tried to jump right into the Zombies! Run! app but quickly discovered that I was not nearly in shape enough to handle it. This app uses the same format to get you able to handle the running needed to really play the full app.

Disappointed
Armyvol

UPDATE: app crashes and loses my workouts after I finish them. I can’t even fast forward through it again so it can be marked as complete. I just let it go through it again while I go about my business. Annoying AF. The walk/run cues are not working correctly. It was "run for 15 seconds ok great now walk". I ended up counting my own 15 seconds just to do the workout. Has nobody heard of a soft opening? Have people try it and then work out the bugs before you release it? Very disappointed in you all. Get it together.

Great for training

I haven’t had any issues with crashes or bugs so far has so good exercises and pretty good motivation with a small amount of story wish there were more apps like this.
