I’m using the same login and keep saying incorrect password. I changed my phone and with the same password I can login to my old phone but not the new one. Zmodo app needs some improvement with login.plus I never received the code when I try t reset my password.

This App Is the worst application I have ever seen. It just gets worst everyday. They want you to pay $2.50 per camera per month for cloud service. That is terrible. I pay $2.99 monthly for 200 Giga to Apple. I am very sorry I bought so many of this cameras. I wasted my money and my time.

Trash when it comes to properly recording “events”

Sometimes records for 10 seconds as people walk up to your door, but then cuts off, leaving no evidence of any wrongdoing, other times does not record them walking up, but records 10 seconds of them shuffling around at your front door, with their face too close to the door to be visible — but no clip of them walking up, or leaving, when their face might have been visible. Clearly the design is faulty, or it’s intentionally designed to only give you a partial record of “events”, to encourage you to pay for the 24/7 recording feature. Just design it to save the 10 seconds before and after the event, instead of just saving the “event”. Sometimes it doesn’t capture anything at all when I walk up to the door in broad daylight. The only solid feature is that you can view live video remotely — aside from that it does not work as advertised. The cameras are very affordable, but the software leaves A LOT to be desired.

The app used to be great. After the last apple update the app crashes frequently and when you go to talk through the camera you have to mute and then unmute to hear someone talk back. Really annoying and frustrating. I was hoping that the developers were going to update the app, however it’s been a month and still nothing.

These cameras seem great at first. They’re cheap and ok quality. Easy set up and installation. The picture quality is decent and motion detection is extremely sensitive. (Sometimes other times it won’t record anything) Night vision is ok. But for what you pay for them it’s to be expected. I never went into this thinking I was getting the highest quality. What I did not expect is the absolute robbery of their “cloud” subscription. I should’ve researched more and kept looking for a different camera. First you’re roped in with the free trail. Take in mind my cameras are strictly WiFi with no internal storage or ability to connect to anything but through the app and cloud. They lag & the app crashes ALOT. The motion detection will pick up a bug butt flying by but other times won’t get an entire car pulling up or person at my door. W/o cloud it’s supposed to record 15 second increments of motion. It’s on average 4-12 seconds. The cloud subscription is expensive when you think this is just for my camera to be a camera and record. The lowest one is around $50 a year for EACH device. That is $350 for me roughly $30 a month just to have the cameras almost work at full capacity. Like I said that’s Zmodo’s cheapest cloud package. I could get an actual home security system that continually monitors my home and notifies the police if there ever is a problem for a few dollars more than that a month. If you want something for show or just something to be able to LOOK at your home, this is it. I will say the live view on the app is handy. But definitely don’t count on these cameras to matter when you really need them. I’ve had them for almost a year and odds are they won’t catch anything. Unless you pay a ridiculous amount just to be able to see after it already happens. If you also maybe want a baby monitor this would be great! But do not get these as a cheaper home monitoring option. It’s not. You could spend a little more money and get something far better. I was never expecting great but having to pay $350 a year just to be able to record is ridiculous. I didn’t research enough and didn’t want to spend the extra $$ & time installing wired cameras. Or spend the extra $$ on something like adt. Lol I would’ve been better off doing so because their monthly subscription is maybe $5-10 more (with way more options and security) than what Zmodo charges just to do what cameras do... record.

I can’t set up these stupid worthless paper weights. And my wifi is pretty good. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!

The app disconnects and works when it wants too. Which I had become dependent on when leaving my home. Since the app is unreliable i wouldn’t advised anyone to purchase this or meShare because they are the same company or something. Neither are operating properly.

1st year all good... since then, every other week my cameras are offline using the app... i can still view my cameras with my monitor, but not on my mobile app... I found nothing fixes it... just gotta wait a few days then they come back. ??‍♂️
