Holy commercials Batman!

LoBwell

Literally 15-20 commercials per break( I counted). I like the app and use it daily but not worth $70 a month. This app/service needs some work...I’m currently seeking out another streaming service for live tv and movies.

Great but needs improvement

GonzoHere

Pros 1. Works on all my devices 2. DVR is awesome Cons 1. PIP - picture in picture isn't supported. I can't send an email without closing the app. This feature has been out for almost a 6 months on iOS, what's the delay? It's very aggravating 2. Expensive 3. Audio needs tuning, commercials come in blasting.

LAGS behind on live events!!

ron907

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. It’s not worth it at all. If you watch something live and connect to your TV, you will be at least 5 minutes behind. All of the movies are on other apps. Not worth $10 let alone $65 a month. Child’s play

PIP option

KYNAVYDOC

Just a suggestion for the developers. Offer free or a pay option for PIP with multiple channels at the same time. It doesn’t have to be on the iPhone. Would be much better anyway on Apple TV like it did with PS Vue. This would reallly separate YouTube tv from the pack.

Used to work well

James432

New version keeps removing my gmail account from YouTube and from the app. Sometimes let’s me sign back in completely unusable.

Incredibly frustrating

ron_99

Crashes all the time, locks up, throws errors. Was great for a while but the last three months have been terrible. I’m looking at alternatives.

Customer Support is a Nightmare

Boomshockalacka!

I’ve been on the phone line for over an hour just trying to speak to a supervisor. She keeps refusing to get on the phone. All I’m trying to do is make a payment and their system refuses to use my secondary payment method. I can’t get anyone in customer service to help. I went from a super happy customer to a extremely angry customer in one hour. I will now be canceling service with one phone call to customer support. They are the happy customer prevention team. They have been refusing to provide the name of the supervisor that has been refusing to take my call. The incompetence is mind numbing. Finally told the name of the supervisor, that should be fired, is Amor. I was told that she would “call me back”, but it was clear this was the happy customer prevention team giving me the run around. Hours later and still no call back. The streaming technology is amazingly good but trying to pay them is always an incredible nightmare. They don’t want to take your money, it’s insanity. The payment interface is a train wreck and the entire leadership in customer service should be fired immediately, starting with Amor (if that’s her real name). I just looked up new places to start watching TV and NBA League Pass. I just added NBA League Pass on Amazon Prime, as I didn’t know that I could watch it there until now. So I will now no longer be watching it on YouTube TV...Thank you, supervisor Amor. I found out TMobile has a new TV service and that could be where I take my Live streaming subscription since YouTube hates there customers or at least Customer Service and Accounts Recievables.

Needs One More Thing

Music Is The 7th Sense

The app would be improved with Siri compatibility. Right now, I can select search and use Siri to enter the name of the search, but it would be easier to just say the program, network or channel name/number like the cable voice controls already have been doing for years. Otherwise, the guide seems cumbersome and time consuming to operate.

Must daily restart app

Trutyjoh

On a daily basis when I turn my AppleTV on and try to watch YouTubeTV I get “no network detected” All other apps (Netflix, HBO, Prime ) all work just fine. If I unplug and restart, or use the settings on ATV to restart or close and reopen the app all is fine. But why do I need to do this with this app and no other??? This might be a YouTubeTv / Apple TV 4K Bug. Wish it would get fixed.

Huge bug with the adds

Andrew peer

When watching a show there are a sequence of 7 adds that gets stuck and loops the adds to never show what you’re watching. Happens when using apple air play to a tv.
