YouTube TV is free iOS app published by Google LLC

The picture quality is terrible when I watch NFL games. It’s pixelated and buffers constantly, while sometimes freezing up all together. The channel selection is not the best either.

The service works well but the iOS app needs Picture in Picture support to keep up with rivals like Sling. May switch for that feature.

Cheaper yes. Definitely some bugs that need to be addressed. Overall I’ll take it over cable

You would think after ESPN bent y’all over a barrel and made you pay all that money, that you’d at least be showing ESPN channels in your lineup given how expensive they were for y’all to re-acquire. I don’t see any ESPN channels on any platform, iPhone nor Roku

I have had you tube tv for 2 years now and it’s a great cable or satellite replacement. Saves alot of money no rental fees no calling because service is interrupted. I have never had issues of freezing or buffering. And they have added channels that my wife wanted. Keep up the good work but don’t be like satellite and cable and keep raising prices.

I was thrilled with YouTube tv until I realized that the hbo max addition doesn’t offer what the separate app does but it’s the same price. I tried requesting a refund but find myself going in circles with the app/website/fire tv app and it’s annoying. I’m not sure what the problem is but I would still like a refund.

This recent update has definitely made this app choppier in both the GUI/UX and video performance, at least on my iPad Pro 10.5 running iPadOS 14.8. When in the YTTV view with the live video in the upper left box and the info below it, it’s a jittery/choppy mess when swiping. Was very smooth with a prior version. I think this app is showing signs of being too bloated and too heavy on the graphical transition effects as this iPad Pro is still a very capable device. Hey Google, less is more, so consider a lighter touch on the transition effects, or allow us to throttle them down (like you can under Android Developer Options). Also experiencing more audio choppiness than before — the audio is cutting out for microseconds and is somewhat disruptive. Difficult to say whether it’s from this app update or something else, but it definitely wasn’t there before this update. Have 400mbps DL into my home, and not seeing any issues with any other streaming device or app. I hadn’t updated this YTTV app in quite a while (it was working perfectly), but decided to keep up. Boy, yet another regretted app update. Google, you can do better as not everyone has the latest device. Need to optimize these issues for ALL devices, not just the fastest latest and greatest.

Looks stupid and unprofessional. Idiotic is an understatement.
