Dont know why but the app all the sudden is very buggy. When I try to watch something i recorded, it starts showing me stuff that was aired on that channel hours before the show Im trying to watch. I have to fast forward and hope that eventually it starts playing the show I want. The closed captioning is always on when i open the app. Even though it’s set to off. I have to turn the captions on then off in order to turn it off. Yes you read that right. The option is set to off but the captions show any way so I have to turn it on then off. And now today when I turn my phone sideways, it doesn’t go full screen. The picture will adjust to the direction I turn my phone but it only shows on about a third of the size. The rest of the screen is blank. I don’t know what happened. It was working fine a few days ago.

The app itself is fine, although has scrolling issues at times. The big missing feature is PiP.

10/27/20: LITERALLY the next update came out and brought back the exact same bug. Beyond disappointed and upset. Fix this crap already as I don’t know that it could be more confined (only on iPad, only on YTTV-not YT, & only when you manually change the resolution does it force closed captioning to permanently be on). So frustrating. Back to a 1 star rating until it’s fixed for good. 10/24/20: resolution/CC bug finally fixed! YTTV Apple TV app updated to mirror the app as the same normal Home page is back! Back to loving this app! 9/24/20: new update, same horribly annoying bug. If you manually select your resolution, you’re forced to put up with closed captioning. There’s no way to turn it off. Auto reverts usually to 240p/360p so, blurry garbage. Fix this already please! 9/13/20: I want to start by saying that I LOVE YouTubeTV. I’ve been a subscriber for at least 2 years I think ever since trying the first 7 days free. It has all of the channels I want (especially with the additions of NFL Network/Red Zone & the Viacom channels). However, for at least a month now whenever you manually select the resolution you want it forces Closed Captioning to remain on no matter what. It is very, very, very annoying. I’ve reported it multiple times and yet the bug still remains. The Auto resolution also currently doesn’t go to best quality due to Google trying to reduce overall traffic with so much more streaming during this pandemic which makes sense but when you have 100+ Mbps internet I don’t ever want to see 480p or less picture quality. Ever. Yet, again, when you force it to 720/1080p you’re forced to have a 1/4 of your picture covered in text I don’t need and the CC setting does literally nothing. Once this bug is fixed I’ll consider adjusting my 1-star rating but the latest update to the AppleTV version of the app is also bad. Bring back the same Home page as on mobile devices! I don’t want to open the app to tell me which shows to add! I want to open it to the Home allowing me to quickly head to a channel suggestion which is 99% right. Horrible change. Bad bugs. Fix it please. Don’t ruin something good. Thank you.

Won’t enlarge to full screen. Also, keeps turning on closed captioning after I close the app and reopen it, even though I have it off. VERY ANNOYING!!!! Particularly, that I can’t get full-screen to work any longer. You need to issue an update!!!!!!
Getting rid of local sports networks.

I joined YouTube TV to watch hockey for the most part. They have all the major sports networks, but they have dropped the local fox sports networks so now I’m out of being able to watch hockey or baseball on a local network Because they dropped it. All I ask is to bring back local fox sports networks.

Video quality for the most part is excellent compared to other services. Great channel lineup and fast interface. However, I’m disappointed in the recent $15 price increase...$65 a month is pretty steep for steaming tv. The least they could have done was increase the amount of simultaneous streams from 3 to 4. At least add that instead of useless channels no one asked for

I saw that season 1 of Breaking Bad was no longer on YouTubeTv. I also noticed that I am unable to watch Minnesota United games. I am just wondering why I can’t view those 2 programs. Great app by the way.

New update renders app unplayable. It just crashes saying I need to update to the new version and then won't open and crashes again completely useless.

A lot of downs when exploring live TV guide. And doesn’t support multi Picture in Picture. Does weird minimize little strip. And can’t jump to the start of a show u have to watch from when you came in. So what’s the point ??
