Rarely connects and when it does can’t download or scrub videos. Camera doesn’t detect motion when being bumped. Stay away!

Can only use app if you send your cameras location do not trust this company. What brought me here was not being able to turn off the screen. It’s blinding me while driving at night. Since I “didn’t meet the requirements” (???) to leave a review for this on amazon here’s some other problems: The mounting for the camera is extremely limiting and totally blocks the view out of my windshield. (Too bulky) Mounting bracket hard to tighten / doesn’t tighten. Huge bright sticker on the bottom that reflects off windshield. Two lights (one flashing) that I find useless and distracting.

I bought my house cameras and dash cam on the recommendation of a friend who showed me his cameras. I went out of country for a year and when I returned I set up my dashcam in my Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2015. The rubber straps were too small to fit the dash cam to the rearview mirror. No problem though, I got wire coat hanger cut it and used the wire to secure the dash cam. Set it up and didn't pay attention to the positioning of the images until after I mounted the rear camera 6 months later. Then I saw that the front view was crooked. I looked for an adjustment but there is no lens rotation adjustment. I owned it for over a year now when I noticed this defect. It's a manufacturing defect but, since warranty was obviously up I just bit the bullet and kept on using it. The rear view is perfect. And other than a crooked picture the unit works as desired. So just check that your picture is acceptable before the warranty is up. I like the connection to phone for picture video uploading and the impact sensor recording. I have saved some beautiful non-impact videos that I saw simply by a quick tap of the camera to imitate an impact and start a recording. They were weather events during my journey. Caught a tornado forming in Mississippi rain storm. Love it. The house cams are the bomb too. I like the alerts to my phone when a detection occurs. When maintenance workers knew I was out of town and would enter my apartment and take their break in my apartment watching my TV and hiding out instead of working. I caught and recorded it all including conversations. And the building exterminator coming in and not spraying but just walking in and looking around. Needless to say the building now has a new maintenance crew and a new pest control company. All because of the camera doing its job. Thanks Yi.

Was working when I turn off my LTE which was already troublesome that I had to do that in order for it to work. Now it does not work period. PLEASE FIX IT!

This used to be a very solid app and then I assume management got involved. It’ll fail to connect to the dashcam over WiFi to extract videos if you don’t have location services turned on, but it doesn’t tell you this. It’ll just sit at the connecting screen. Lots of time wasted troubleshooting what used to work fine. There is literally no reason why gps coordinates are needed to facilitate WiFi transfer. Such a pointlessly spiteful decision.

I never had a problem connecting to my dashcam before installing iOS 13. Now, I can’t connect to the device’s WiFi. I’ve reset the device and deleted the known network. Still no luck. I’m on the latest version of iOS 13, and stay on top of that. A fix needs to be pushed for this.
