Love yelp but what drives me crazy about mobile version is that you cannot see the notes made on the bookmarks in the website version! I usually research restaurants and put into notes what are recommended items from other reviewers, but then I can't access them in the app. Another thing Yelp needs to fix is not saving everything opened or allowing a way to clear the memory because otherwise it takes up a lot of space. I periodically have to delete the app and reinstall to clear some storage space on my phone.

A beyond sub par employee was resigned from my office stemming from her inability to perform the job, chronic lies and immaturity. Afterward, left a fake review stating not to come to my office because "the great employee left." I reported it and it was denied removal. This site has no interest in reporting truth and integrity. Only in sensationalistic tabloid lies. I will never use them again.

I love my Yelp! app. It's definitely my go-to app for most pre-planned meals, deals, and oil changes. I use it more than 90% of my apps. Yea, not all the reviews written are allowed to remain, but I don't have an issue with that. We all have bad days.
After iOS 10 update map issue if we delete inbuilt map

Yesterday I updated to iOS 10 and deleted inbuilt Map since I don't prefer it over Google Map. Now whenever I click on any address in yelp it is asking me to install Map. Since I already have Google Maps installed. It should open Google map by default. Or ask if I want to change the default map.

Have been using Yelp for years and love the out of the way places to eat that get good ratings that I would never stopped in without the review. Using it more and more each day for everything.

I ended up never using this app because the reviews were so subjective. I left a few reviews and they deleted the ones that weren't positive. What's the point if you're not getting all the honest reviews. I stopped using the app after awhile and eventually deleted it.
App no longer works

After the update my app no longer works. As soon as I click on the app it freezes my whole phone (iPhone 5s)...They need to fix this quickly or I will b using trip advisor.

App is bloated and amateur reviews are usually friends of owners and have little merit. If the reviews were verified maybe I'd trust them more. This app is only as good as the reviews and thus far, reviews are biased
WHY AN APP???!

I'm sure I'm not the only person who doesn't want yet another app on my cell phone. Yet Yelp forces its users to install the app in order to get the full services of the Yelp site. This punishes 100% of the population. It punishes the percentage of the population who do install "yet another app" on their mobile device by taking up storage space for something they shouldn't have to install. It punishes the population who does not, or cannot install the app due to space restrictions or not having a mobile device, because if you go to the website - or even the mobile site - you cannot leave reviews. Which is supposed to be the purpose of the Yelp site! Why the harassment?
