New option ”examples” line

You have a new not convenient change for small iPhone display. You add ”examples” line. It makes difficult to see translate. But examples are very helpful.

Pretty accurate... but needs to have the ability to detect traditional text.

I’m always using this app for mainly 3 languages: Korean, Chinese and Japanese. The Chinese one is the most accurate and I’m super glad. Korean and Japanese, is a bit more iffy but it’s there. The only thing I would like added is that it can be able to detect traditional writing style for Chinese and Japanese. I would love to know what someone is saying, for example in a comic they use that style. But everything else works fine. I have already recommended this translator to a bit more of my friends since it’s really good.

This app is extremely helpful for me whenever my German speaking boyfriend finds it hard to text me in English. All I do is copy what he said into this app and have it translated into English so I can understand what he said. My boyfriend recommended this app to me and now I recommend it to anyone who also hate translators that pretend to be accurate

The best translator for Russian by far

Yandex offers more information for translations than Google Translate, and the translations feel like they are more accurate. As a polyglot I use both yandex translate and google for different languages, but when it comes to Russian yandex is the most reliable, both for the literal entries and the sound clips. The UI is ergonomic, allowing you to quickly clear the screen and enter another word for translation or swipe to previous queries. If you’re a student of Russian, Yandex is a must.

The modification you made for picture to text is horrible. When it doesn’t translate properly there is no way to select each word. You can only select the words it understands.

Мне очень нравится ваше приложение, оно дает хороший перевод с английского на русский , для чего я его на 90% использую. Но хотелось бы попросить о дальнейшем развитии данного продукта- нельзя ли увеличить скачиваемую базу слов для офлайн перевода. Сейчас для англо-русского перевода она менее 100 мб, а я (да и многие другие)мог бы легко выделить и 500-700 мб памяти на своем устройстве для более качественного перевода. Также хочется попросить о возможности выставлять тематику перевода, хотя бы основную, чтобы приложение подбирало значения слов именно из данных тем( к примеру политика, медицина, IT, фитнесс и тд ) Также в приложении почему-то стало плохо работать функция «перевести сайт». Это частично решается расширением для Safari, но все же если эта функция есть и приложении , то или уберите её или доведите уже до ума. Также , если совсем уж помечтать - не могло бы ваше приложение хотя бы субтитрами переводить образовательные видео из Coursera? И кстати почему бы Яндексу , весьма современной компании не создать еще свою платформу для образовательных видео на русском языке?

offline mode doesn’t work... it shows message “install the pair of languages in settings”... but this very pair is ALREADY INSTALLED!!! Stupid error! Bad work!!!

Am in Italy right now using the offline version of this app. I was able to ask my taxi driver to take me to the railway station, translate a notice on the street and tell my gondolier he was doing a fantastic job, making him smile. This app is very easy to use, translates from English to Italian and the other way round and has come up with all the words I've needed. This app has really made my vacation in Italy so much nicer. I highly recommend it!!
