I cannot add any of my cards to this app after the latest updates Yandex issued. I called the banks and they said the issue is with Yandex, meanwhile my cards still work with Uber. Useless!

The company send a taxi that will scam you. They over charged me and threaten to called the police. The app wouldn’t let me pay by credit card either and forced me to pay by cash. A 561 ruble ride turned into a strong arm 1975 ruble ride.

Problem with drivers

Отвратительные водители. Очень грубые и жадные, не все, конечно, но 80%. Большинство машин просто в ужасном состоянии, некоторые водители не знают места назначений, даже когда ставишь на «add destination» умудряются ехать по своему пути. Еще очень любят нажимать на начало поездки, даже не доехав до клиента. Не знаю, по каким критериям Яндекс нанимает своих водителей.

The app is working very bad, you can’t see the car if it’s coming or not. App doesn’t show correctly your actual location and not shows right location of your destination. All the time drivers choose the longest way to your destination. Most of the drivers are from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. I had an episode when the driver was going the opposite way I needed and when I started to complain about it he blocked the doors and asked for more money. I wouldn’t recommend to use this app, especially for the girls that travel alone. It is simply dangerous!!!

I took Yandex taxi in Tashkent twice, first driver was alright but Yandex taxi app didn’t work properly and took us to a wrong location I got charged more. Second driver was horrible, he was driving like guys in action movies. Aggressive, reckless driving, driving in opposite way crossing 2 solid lanes, inpatient. Driving on speed bumps at 50 km. Such a Knucklehead. They should be deactivated right away. I don’t recommend to take this service. Don’t take that risk

Вызвала такси через апп, способ оплаты был карта. Я только прилетела из США и еще не было налички, да и вообще я ее не ношу. В итоге, машина приехала не к двери а к шлагбауму, пришлось идти. Села в машину способ оплаты по какой-то причине меняется на наличные, я ничего не меняла. Спрашиваю водителя, зачем вы поменяли он говорит что не менял. Я пытаюсь поменять на карту, не проходит подтверждение. Карта кредитная с лимитом более 40,000 $ поэтому речи о том что на ней нет средств не может быть. В итоге я не могу поменять ни на карту ни на Apple pay. Прошу остановить машину и прошу меня отвезти обратно, так как наличных у меня 300 рублей и на мою поездку не хватит. Водитель говорит поменять конечный пункт назначения, что я опять не могу сделать через апп. В итоге он решил завершить маршрут и высадить меня где мы были, при том что на улице дождь и мы на шоссе. Он сам не смог завершить поездку, звонил в суппорт. Итог, я заплатила 200 рублей за то что меня высадили посередине шоссе под дождём. Никогда не пользуйтесь их услугами, хамские водители, не работающие приложения и машина тоже была грязная!

I am an Indian national. As soon as I landed in St Petersburg, I downloaded the Yandex app and tried to register with my Indian cell phone, which did not work. After that, I bought a Russian sim card, and thankfully, the app started working. The problems didn't end there. I tried adding my Indian credit card(Visa), but the Yandex application failed to verify the card. It's been five days I have been trying to contact the support, but they don't seem to comprehend my problems, let alone solve them.

Blocked for no reason

It worked well for one day but by evening I was blocked. Either Yandex Taxi or my bank declined a 55 cent tip. Multiple attempts to get unblocked through responding on the app or through the web site have failed even though I received a text message that it was fixed. They resolve a simple problem. If you chose the even the 15% tip small amounts may appear suspicious to a bank.
