It’s a great way to have an inter-office media presence. Not social media because it can be for just things that you want to share among coworkers. It’s great!

I don’t like it, reminds me of the evil grips that social media has on the youth in America which instills a sense of laziness reading and responding to posts. Important information should not be shared on Yammer it should be sent to techs via email because I don’t have the time when working to stop and continually check my feed for info. Big time waster...
Our internal water cooler

Our whole company is on Yammer. As a virtual company we post, comment, and share. We learn from one another this way. And it’s internal just for us. We take from these discussions and hit the big topics on weekly team calls and get inspirations for blogs and white papers. Love it!
