Yammer is a very good app. It would be ideal if group owners could send announcements from the app. Today that’s not possible.

I absolutely love yammer, I think it’s an amazing way to keep in contact with my coworkers. Here recently though I’ve been having nothing but problems with the app. It never works, saying that the site is having issues and to try again later. I really hope this gets fixed soon.
Good internal communication tool

We use Yammer internally for non-urgent updates and water-cooler information. Yammer effective disseminates the information and also allows us to have a record of what was shared. I like the Mac standalone app too.
