XCOM on your phone, what a time to be alive! Only complaints are having to inch the camera around and sometimes messing up move orders like giving them while trying to scroll, but that's what save scum is for. If you could zoom out and scroll around more easily, and not have the camera zooming back in when your soldier selection changes, would get a solid five stars -- but still great.

An absolute dumpster fire.

Controls that only work 10% of the time. Buggy camera angles. No way to cancel a bad move due to the controls. It’s just a hot pile of garbage for the IOS version.

Doesn’t work on iPhone 11

While the game will load on my iPhone 11, the controls don’t always work. Restarting the game will not fix the issues. I have issues with going up and down floors and also cancelling or accepting an action. On the bright side, it works on my iPad.

No sound on iOS 13.5.1

Couldn’t get the sound to come on in iOS 13.5.1. Last update was more than 2 years ago. Unlikely this issue will be resolved.

The game plays good! It’s just that on my iPhone 11 can’t play in full screen. Can you guys change that? That would be for a perfect review

The tutorial is horribly broken. You can easily get into a position where any load of save game causes you to be unable to proceed. The game tries to force you to select an enemy to shoot at but when there are no enemies on the screen you’re stuck in an infinite loop. The QA on this game is pretty poor when you can’t even make it out of the tutorial.

Awesome

Such a great game. Every now an then the game crashes and you have to re-load. Multiplayer is not cross platform form. Don’t bother playing multi player. Either crashes or some players use glitches to stall the game on your turn and you loose for not being able to even play your turn. Very frustrating. When you actually get a match though, a lot of fun. Just play multi player with friends.

If you love xcom just get this on mobile. This runs surprisingly well.. in fact, this runs better on my iPhone base then back when I used to play this on the PS3 which is baffling. Remember all the drastic frame rate drops every time a character moves? Don’t see it here. This game runs flawlessly and load times are insanely quick. 10/10 for me.

Game Crashes on Second Mission

This game crashes on the second mission on my IPhone 11 Max and also on my iPad Pro. I have informed 2K China and they say that they have logged it as a bug with the developers but that there is nothing that they can do. No Refund or credit, They have not put any notice on the AP store that this game does not work on new devices but THIS GAME DOES NOT WORK ON NEW DEVICES. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND SUPPORT WILL NOT HELP YOU. DO NOT BUY!!

Lots of bugs, very very slow gameplay

Expect the game to freeze semi regularly. Expect to not be able to to load saved games. Be aware that you will spend more time waiting for the sequential animations to complete than you will playing the game.
