The best hiking app for the best hiking places in the US. Works very well, only complaint is that you lose GPS signal for many trailheads (including national parks). My solution is to use my phone to take screen shots so they're stored on my phone if I do lose the signal. Otherwise it works great!

I would like to have a few more filter options to find certain hikes. Otherwise, this app really helps me discover new hikes.

This is the best app by far for hiking in Washington! I use it all the time to help me choose my next adventure and get important information about trail condition, accessibility, and bugs (very important). I highly recommend!

When I searched to see if WTA had an app, I expected basically a carbon copy of the website accessible from an app instead of having to open my mobile browser, but I find the interface and functionality to actually be a lot more intuitive than the website! I was very pleasantly surprised at how much easier it was to view pictures and trip reports, and of course, the "near me" feature is a natural fit for mobile.
