I love how simple and neat the design and interface is. The only thing I would add is under the advanced options, to be able to search features of hikes such as "waterfalls" "lake" "meadow" etc. only the official website has that function available. It would also be cool to add into the my back pack area, a section of hikes you've completed. Like a check list.

This app works great on the phone for finding trailheads and getting current conditions and latest trip reports. Only thing that it really lacks are trail maps and height profile.

This app is very easy to use. I've used the WTA website for the past year before realizing they had an app. I created an account (though it's not required to use the app) and now I can save hikes to view later and plan for. I love being able to view Trip Reports from others to see how conditions are. I think the "My Backpack" feature is my favorite part - now I don't have to keep a list on my phone of hikes I want to try! I also love searching by map view to see what's nearby. Helps me plan weekend getaways.

This app is really helpful when looking for hikes. You can get so much information about each hike and see trip reports from other hikers. The app is easy to use. I do wish they would add a category for the custom search that included backpacking.
