Supposed to be able to access trails and 5 most recent reports offline if they are in your “backpack.” When to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and tried to use it and nothing was available.

This is my go-to app for our region and find the search, descriptions, and trip reports extraordinarily helpful. One suggestion: Develop the Backpack for users to create categories to save hikes. It would make it easier to search for hikes in the backpack as well as keep them organized. Highly recommend this app!

I use this app regularly to help me find hikes and read the trip review to find out about bugs, road conditions, etc.

The WTA app is always a go to when researching what hikes to do, saving recommended hikes (to my backpack), and when preparing to do a hike it’s great to read recent trail reports and change plans if necessary!

If you live in Washington and hike you have to have this app. You MUST also become a member of the WTA. Descriptions are great and the user info is very helpful. I don’t leave home without it!

I love this app! It’s allowed me to explore Washington in so many ways! I wish you could: -log what hikes you’ve done without having to do a trip report, or have a form to fill out when you finished a hike. -see what hikes your friends were doing in a similar way to Apple Music/Spotify.

Love this app and the also the feeling of adding a completed hike to your backpack! Been using this as my first source for over a year now and the format and content have both exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for all WA day hikers and backpackers / mountaineers.

This was the third and final time that I will try to write a review with photos. This app is all or nothing with photo permissions - you either deny it (default) or give it full time read and write permissions (bad). Developer did not bother implementing permission requests, so if you’re done writing a lengthy review and try to upload a photo, it’ll tell you to go to Privacy to allow it. When you do that now, it kills the app and reloads it, blowing away your draft review. Stupid

This app is fantastic! By far the best hike finder app I’ve tried. Plus the descriptions and trip reports are actually helpful. Only think missing is a map of the hiking route.

I really like the map feature for searching for hikes! I also really enjoy getting to read trip reports so you can get a sense of current trail conditions. I would say the rating system for hike difficulty isn’t the most accurate, it all truly depends on our fitness level and experience, so just keep that in mind and read all the details such as total miles and elevation gain!
