not sure how it could be better

I wish all outdoor apps were as amazing as this one! The trailblazer app has everything. Maps, weather, directions, reports, photos, a virtual “backpack” to store the hikes you want to do and offline features??The only downside is that there isn’t the same exact thing for kayaking our beautiful region.

Good with annoying bugs

千缕微风

Good: I’m addicted to it, read it many times a day. Bugs: Impossible to edit report; no paragraph breaks, only one paragraph no matter how big it is; unable to add text description to a photo.

Hiking bible

NuttyCuckooSuperKing

My bible for hike planning. Where it’s especially vital is finishing new hikes - for that, I use the hike maps, search feature, hike descriptions and user reviews and pics. Lots of love for this app!!!

Love this app!

Jlamharzi

Love the trail reports for inspiration and current conditions. Nice to have quick links to directions and weather. I wish every state had an app this useful!

New adventures

MishNoButterface

Recently moved to area, excited for all the outdoor hikes & activities. Discovering this App really made it easier to find what I needed for the day - short day hikes, trail run, and planning weekend adventures!

Beginner hiker

RTMJstuart

I have young children and want to explore the outdoors with them. This app has provided so much useful information and has helped tremendously with choosing the best hikes for them.

Great content

outdoorfan_1

This is a great app to find new hikes as well a get current trail conditions. The recent trip reports are very beneficial. After you use this app a few times you will likely send WTA a donation because it so valuable.

Filters

Peydayy

I wish they had a filter option to filter out the day hikes and just show multi-night backpacking trails or vice versa.

My go to!

Coolkidd80

THE only app I use for trails. I read trail reports every day. Look places up everyday, it’s very user friendly and maps are accurate.

Great app for hikers!

Searching for a hike has never been this easy! You can find hikes in any region, see what the rating is, mileage of the hike, and see if it is kid friendly and/or dog friendly. You can even see trip reports of all the hikes other people did, and write your own trip report after you’ve done your hike. I did two hikes this summer and this app helped me do my research. I just wished they added a feature where users can see the “Volunteers” page and scroll through them to see different events available like a Trail Work Party, like the one on the WTA website.
