Had to uninstall in order to update

App says “update required” but an auto update seems like a pretty normal thing these days. In order for me to update it manually I have to uninstall and reinstall. Don’t like that, no sir, not one bit. 3 stars because it works okay, is kind of handy I guess although I would like to be able to use it during gameplay to save myself the 20 minutes trying to get through boralus lagfest. I really miss the old companion app, the auction house functionality was an amazing addition to my gameplay. I used that app a lot more often.

Mobile Pet Battles

Hey Blizzard, if you’re listening out there, I think if you were to find a way to make pet battles integrated into mobile, it would be a great way to draw new people into the game and highlight the feature which often gets overlooked.

Could easily be a 5 star review, but somehow the “new and improved companion app” lacks key features that drove everyone to use the original. Lacking auction house, as well as we can’t even view 3D models of our characters, see inventory, view stats, or ANYTHING other than BFA world quests?? Simply ridiculous. I expect more from Blizzard, but you have been going down hill faster and faster. Pitiful.

15 years and still in beta?

This app isn’t usable since the 8.3 update and hours after the game is live there is still no working version. In this day and age releases like this should be simultaneous. Plus, salt in the wound it was released on the Google play store over an hour ago.

Trying to open this app on or near a patch release breaks it. Keeps saying that an update is needed but clearly there is no update available. Feels like this app is always a back burner item. Lets see how long it takes for this app to work since the patch was released 9 hours ago. Also of note, android users got their update 4 hours ago.

App is non functional and painful.

Bottom line is that it is currently opening and the. Crashing out with an error message that a newer version is available and that one needs to update but coming to the App Store shows no newer version and the app automatic upgrade process isn’t engaging otherwise. Currently it is merely a hostile error message generator.

Constant issues with every version of the app, only allows for bfa mission table use,sluggish, will tell you to update right after you update to current version

There was an AH app? This essentially lets you play your mission board (dull and should be removed) and check in to guild chat, which can be useful. This app is underwhelming and lacks features, such as the AH, which would allow you to stay connected to the game.

Wish they would bring back the AH part of the app.

It’s good for what it does but this app used to be so much more. Load screens are kinda long tho.
