Just a bad app

It may have been gone for some time now as I’m just coming back to wow after a long break (honestly didn’t plan to play at all in bfa) but the only reason I used this app in the past was to post auctions. I found that functionality so useful and the tools made posting auctions super easy. Without that this apps pretty much just slow unresponsive garbage. Not worth the minimal space it would take up on my phone

The app would be great if it actually let me log on instead of staying frozen on a blank screen. Re-downloading doesn’t work, nor does restarting my phone. What a failure.

Nice app but not a true companion app

You cannot be logged into your wow account and the app simultaneously; therefore it is not a companion app. It is an app to manage your garrison companions when you are not able to be at your computer. It has great potential but the functionality is limited and cannot be utilized fully if you cannot use it in conjunction with wow gameplay.

Now: Glad app is working again. A few hours ago: Seriously, Blizzard. Fix this. I’ve been logged into the app for ages doing missions on only one toon. Suddenly this week, the app is frozen on the character screen when I never even go into the CHOOSE CHARACTER screen. Seriously, don’t you care? Don’t you realize all the annoyances like this chip away at your player base? This. Making flying not available for this expansion until half the player base has already quit and the remaining half is mad. Then, putting flung behind more rep walls. Seriously, keep the game and app great, you’ll keep players. The app not working won’t make me log into the game sooner, it just makes me unhappy with blizzard and cuts the one link I have to WOW when I’m not actually leveling or raiding.

I can’t even log in with my battle.net auth info even though I’m logged into battle.net on the same phone. You asked if we have phones and can’t even code for it D:

Useful but I had hopes that I would be able to select more than just the latest expansion. With the continued use of this mission board and follows system, the app should give you the opportunity to take advantage of more than just the latest content. I.e. Garrisons form Warlords, Legion class hall missions, etc. As a bonus, there are quite a number of daily world quests I would love to be able to do via the phone app, like the Turtle Seeker and Nazjatar mini game world quests. It’s useful, but why not include previous expansions missions at the least to keep the content played?

App needs more features.

It’s a Blizzard product, what do you expect. Before the merge, Blizzard was known for immense quality. Now? Now it’s known for time played metrics to appease shareholders. This app should have built in functionality for your WoD table AND Legion table. I’m not sure why it doesn’t.

Just as the headline says. What it does do it’s just okay. The interface seems clunky and difficult to navigate at times. I wish blizz would give this app a serious overhaul.

Years ago, around MoP iirc, there was a far better app that actually functioned properly. What happened? First day I installed this companion one it worked okay, next day it kept crashing and would give me an error message saying my account was already logged in. Which is impossible, I wasn’t logged into bnet or playing wow, just trying to check gchat in the app but it wouldn’t allow me to. Seriously guys what the heck. At least give us an app that is stable. All I want is to be able to chat in guild on the go. Discord is there but it’s still a third party thing, people aren’t tabbing over to chat in discord every minute while in game. PUT MORE EFFORT INTO YOUR APPS IF YOU WANT TO GO THE MOBILE ROUTE. Thanks.
