Be careful getting this game if u have an iPad. I spent 5 bucks and can't download it, so don't buy it!!!

If you're like me and you've played Worms for years now, then you probably typed "Worms" in the App Store search bar within days or even hours of first opening up your iPad. I held off on buying this until I actually had an occasion to play it - Yes, the controls are weird at first (we didn't know exactly how to jump until after our first game - A tip: firmly tap / double tap the worm you're controlling to make it jump / backflip), but once you read the instructions and figure them out (takes 30 seconds), they cease to be such a pain. One game is all it takes for a Worms veteran to figure them out, I assure you. Thereafter, the controls still won't be perfect - you will probably still jump off of something you didn't mean to once in a while - but if you're a Worms vet, then you know these sorts of hilarious mistakes have been a part of the game since day one. At least they have been for me, hah. Overall, if you've played the series before, this version won't disappoint. If you haven't, check it out online - Worms is the ultimate "Social game" sorta in the vein of Angry Birds when you're playing the single player challenges, and it's a great pick-up-and-play-for-a-round-or-two multiplayer game (local or online) in the vein of Smash Bros or the like. For those in the know, this version of the game is woefully lacking the Super Sheep (come on developers, gimmie control of my flying sheep!), but other than that, Worms remains one of the best pick up and play multiplayer games available on any format, and the iPad, easily passed round a circle and shared with friends, is no exception.

I don't suggest this game, If you have a iPad because it Does not download well.

First off, the game loads and plays fine on the new iPad, no crashes or anything like that. However, the controls are just as bad as people say. It's very difficult to make your Worm do the proper jump. Half the time when I long press he jumps forward, the other half of the time he does the double jump. PLEASE just give us a digital joystick to use, theres other games out there that use them and they work incredibly. My second problem with the game is that the AI is incredibly hard even on the easiest mode. They'll shoot missiles with pinpoint precision to blow up two of your guys while a land mine will go flying into a third worm. This game is so much fun when the AI doesn't just completely destroy you with perfectly aimed shots. Please adjust the AI on the easier difficulties and give us a digital joystick and I'll gladly give this game a better rating.

I miss Worms 3D for PC. Man, that was a time stealer. So I was happy to finally see Worms for iPad. Good job; I hope you'll be working on the controls. Sometimes they don't react, which can cost a whole game. How about an optional touch joy stick in the corner or side? Oh... And is 3D coming out for iPad? I'll buy :)

I bought his games after I finished Worms 2: Armageddon. Since it says "HD" on it, I was sure that it had retina graphics or at least close. As it turns out, it's less that half they quality of worms 2. It's more expensive, has less in the way of content, and just feels cheap compared to the other version. I don't recommend this at all. Buy worms 2.

Worms HD, this is not even HD. I'm a fan of worms but this one really disappoint me with the controls. The graphic is so bad that I will get a headache just buy trying to understand how the control works. I've deleted the app after I bought it within 3 mins. I wish I can get a refund for this lousy app and a cheating app. It is not even close to HD. I will banned all the apps from this developer from today onwards. Wasted my money. Ridiculous app.
