best app i ever purchased for my iPad... no glitches... just pure war game fun. i played this all the time when i was younger and was stoked to see it in the app store at age 21!!! lol. buy it... it's so worth every penny!!!

Dont buy this! It is not worth even one dollar! Crashed after one minute in menu. Does not start any more. Shame on you Team17. Instead of lowering the price you should release an update. These problems have been reported since April!

Worms hit a peak with armageddon and world party. They took out a lot of the good weapons that those games had, and completely changed the physics, it's just not the same. For example, barrels used to produce fire, now they just explode, in fact they took out all of the fire. Those pc games were much more sophisticated, had many more options, and a solid single player. The single player is just rounds of normal gameplay. Sad that those days are gone. That said, this game has a decent implementation of the iPad interface, though newbies will often jump accidentally, losing many of their worms to mistouches.

I read the reviews and they weren't very good, but if you're a worms fan and you want a cool game on your Ipad it's not bad. You have to learn some new controls, but it's not complicated at all and they're quite smooth. The resolution is very good and the colors are definitely hi def. It would be nice if it had online like the original worms, but I'm just glad to see it came to the Ipad.

This is probably the worst game I've played in terms of unintuitive controls and frustrating game play. It plays just fine on computer because it has a keyboard at least... Perhaps if they implemented the keyboard and maybe some arrow keys it wouldn't be so unbearably terrible.

I have always loved this game.. Always have, always will.. The only thing I would add would be a way to bring over my team and progress from my iPhone.. Also, since it is exactly like the iPhone version, it would have been nice for it to have been just an iPad supported update.. I was hesitant to get it on the iPad since I already bought the iPhone version, but I really wanted the larger screen so I ended up getting it anyways.. Nonetheless, awesome game and for anyone who loves the game, it is worth it on the big screen!
