Looks good, one problem

The game looks great, however I deleted it after downloading simply bc every name I tried was taken and I don’t think that should matter. Just upset me a little that I would be spending all my time trying to find a name for my team

This is a unique game. I have played the NHL game from the EA franchise since the days of Super Nintendo. I enjoy the game play but sometimes I just want to run the front office. This game gives you just that. The games are simulated. You can manage everything within your organization from training to your arena. What I do not like about this game is the injuries. It seems whenever a player is injured the injury is always 7 days. And then the flood gates open. The game following the initial injury ALWAYS, brings another 7 day injury (and usually to multiple players). Also, whether you play the 2, 4, or 8 hour challenge it is nearly impossible to get on the leaderboard. Each game takes no more than five minutes to simulate. I have noticed if I start a game at the beginning of a challenge, when the game is over there are users (or bots?) that have double digit point accumulation. Which seems highly suspect. Other than that, if you enjoy simulation management, this is a decent app to have.

Too many injuries/ inconsistent server

A player gets injured just about every game. One of the tips says that playing with low energy increases the likelihood of injuries. I always play with nearly 100% or full energy, and just about 2 out of 3 games there is a player who gets injured for 7 days. It’s impossible to train and improve players if they’re constantly injured. No realistic hockey game would allow half of your roster to be hurt within the span of a week, but currently I have 7 injured players, and I’ve used injury cards to heal another 4 or 5, gone and signed new players to replace injured ones in the meantime, and now the new players are getting hurt! It’s a joke. If the injury situation isn’t resolved in the next update I will be giving this game up for sure. Also, you can’t play the game for more than 5 minutes without losing connection (and I’m always connected to reliable WiFi). Inconsistent results, I just tried to play a challenge game, closed and opened the app 4 different times, and still when I hit PLAY it will not let me play a challenge game. It’s just not going. Kinda annoying that I have full energy, would like to play a game, and cannot. It’s like the more you try to play this game, the more it screws you. Definitely will not be spending a cent on it until it improves, and if it doesn’t get updated soon I’m just deleting it before my whole roster is on the injured list.

I like the flow of this game. A lot to like. A few suggestions though from someone who plays daily. Why is there no way to purchase certain training cards? Only way to get training cards is through challenges. The payouts for wins need to be more. Very hard to keep your team competitive this way. Second, I have no idea (along with most of my social club) what the days under players ‘days ago’ thing means?? Can you release some sort of managing guide for this aspect of the game. Confusing. Just a few tweaks away from being a truly great App. Stick tap.

A Great Game

I find this game to be fantastic. It’s easy to get started even if you don’t know much about hockey. It’s fun, easy, and definitely not pay to win. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that there seems to be a glitch with one of my players. I am unable to sign him to a new contract. It doesn’t say that he rejects it, it just doesn’t do anything even after offering the full amount it will let me.

I used to play a game called SmallBall Baseball where you manage your team and player stats. I’ve been waiting for a game like it for years and now there is one of my favorite sport! Watching your team play is actually pretty exciting. I wish there was a little more personalization like naming players but other than that, I love the game. The devs are very responsive when contacting them and good at helping and listening. I highly recommend this game!!

I have and iPhone 6 I think it's a pretty cool game but it constantly crashes after I press a few buttons. Please fix this issue. Edit. After updating, game works like a charm! Thanks!

I like it, but too buggy.

Good game but it's not stable. I'll try again if they iron it all out. UPDATE 2/2/18: much better with v1.4.9. Not a single glitch.

Fun game

Fun game but still needs a lot of work. It would be nice to be able to see more info about other managers or be able to automatically sort your players in the reserve section by star rating or position. I’d love to see more options kind of like Top Eleven. Wins and losses also seem totally random and challenges will almost always pit you against teams stronger than you so I rarely bother anymore. Would also be nice to have some match visuals even if it’s just dots on the screen like Eastside Hockey Manager. Either way, I like the game but making it more complex with more options would make it so much better, and would be the perfect mobile fix for when I can’t play Eastside Hockey Manager on my laptop. I hope the game continues to improve and evolve.
