Could use some new features, but great game overall!

I have been playing this game for a while, but lost a bunch of my players since i didn't have money, but i feel like thats a game flaw, either its pay a to win situation, or its you lose money and lose players if your not on all the time. theres no way to develop your players either, like you end the contract and thats it. I wish there could be a way to trade players for something in return, otherwise you wouldn't go downhill and could get something in return. Thats just my opinion but i think it would make a better impact on the game itself. Even if a feature similar to this Isn't added I'm still gonna play the game and the entertainment that comes with it.

give us back card packs for social club reward and I’ll change my review back. Been playing this game for about 3 months now and I love it. I’ve tried several other ones and this is by far the best hockey manager game on mobile! I only wish there were some rewards or something for fan zone. I love the idea but would be awesome to have rewards for your teams position or your personal position in fan zone. Also wish rebranding your team didn’t cost so much.
At some point, be ready to pay

I’ve played long enough to have all areas to Level 12 and even once you’re there, you will not generate enough revenue to pay your players salaries. Once you hit the All-Star league, be ready to pay because your “transfer” will not generate a player higher than a “92” and it’s near impossible to train a player higher than a “95”, so if you see opponents with players in the upper 90’s….(96, 97 and so on), those players are being purchased to be able to compete. The boardroom is horrible with horrible coaches, so you will overpay for them too. The Academy is completely useless because it does not generate a player good enough to use in your lineups. The creators didn’t make this game for you to play for free, so at some point, if you want to compete and win…..be ready to spend! You’re lucky you’re getting 1 star!

The game was great until about 3 months ago. After that update the game experience changed dramatically. One of the main issues is the challenges that paid out decent rewards if you won or did well, changed. The rewards are next to nothing now. The cards you would collect to train your players, increase morale, and energy were removed from the challenge payout. This change requires you to use real money to purchase card decks to be able to compete at a level needed to sustain a decent team. I have been playing this game since it’s launch and it’s now longer fun, the developer took the fun out of the game by “requiring” you to purchase items to remain competitive..

Really enjoyed this app until this recent update. Buggy as all get out at the moment, which has made it nearly impossible for me to play. Hoping for a quick resolution. I understand the adjustment period, but the update comes across as rushed. Menus also became even more confusing, but I can envision it being a positive change long term.

The top bar gets cut off by the notch. Can’t see my money anymore. Also putting together a guide on how the skills/ strategies affect gameplay would be great.

The notch at the top of the screen is blocking the top bar which shows how much money you have. Please fix!!
Fun game that will drive you nuts

I love this game. The details for running your team make it a fun game to pass the time. Finding the right lines ups is great too. The default of strongest players on the first line doesn’t always give you the highest rated squad thanks to the player specialties. Developing your own players through the academy, or hunting for solid free agents to bolster my team is a mission, but fun. That said... I wish you could see the tactics of a past opponent so I could strategize against future opponents. I wish for this because the part that drives me nuts about this game is that you can be the home team with a higher rating, prep your squad to 100%, raise morale to 100%, have a 3 goal lead with all the momentum, and despite those advantages, somehow inexplicably, your opponent will score 4 goals in the last 5 minutes. This won’t be a one off, this will happen for about 1/4 of your games. Tactical matchups is the only other thing I can see mattering. So I wish I could check it. UPDATE: I’m on the verge of deleting this game. How my fully prepared 80+ rated team with a single player under 80 skill can lose to a team that’s missing almost an entire line and has three players above 70 skills range is mind boggling.
