Getting better since update

Update: Added one more star for a quick fix and extra coins from devs, but the academy and training portion is still totally useless. A basic training doesn’t even affect half of my academy guys and barely inches up the few it does. I guess the days of advancing in this game are over. I’ll wait to see if anything changes or this amazing game concept will be forgotten. Original: Since the update, even if you can get training to work, it’s almost useless. Three days and most of my players in the academy haven’t increased even one level. Great concepts, but next time, try a beta group first. And it would be nice to have some idea about how the matches in challenge mode are made.

Game is fun, but updates take forever to hit the App Store (24+ hours) making the game unplayable during that time. You’d think they’d halt the clock during that timeframe, but no. I’ve lost 2 high level wingers whose contracts expired waiting for the update.

Love this game. The only thing is the latest update removed the reminder to resign players contracts that are up and I ended up losing my best player. Is there anyway to fix this and possibly get the player back?

This game was fun before the recent update. Now it is very difficult to grow your team which is the point of the game. It wasn't easy before but now it's impossible. I wish I never spent money on it. What a waste. The academy players can't grow fast enough to even make it into my lineup. And my starters aren't growing either. I guess they want you to buy more gold but even when you use gold it's not enough. Hopefully they put it back to the way it was before.

I go to reset the password and it loads for years. Absolute trash. Such a shame because it’s a fun game but it won’t let me sign in

Let me start by saying I love the game. Very fun and the new update is going to be a blast. However, not happy with the new training especially for academy players. Previous version put 4-5 star recruits into the lineup at around 65-70 rank. Since the update I have 4-5 Star recruits that won’t even sign into my team because they end up finishing their time in the academy at 58 ranking. Please fix this. Really puts the emphasis on signing players instead of building through the academy.

This is by far the best hockey GM experience you could get on the App Store. Definitely get it!

I love the game. However after this latest update there seem to be a lot of issues with training and connecting to servers. I train my players it take the training that I did out of my inventory but says I never did any training. Also the social club seems to be a little wonky. I like that aspect of the game but is a little confusing.

This game used to be a very fun game to play and a little more user friendly. Then the devs released and update and now I have at least one payer injured every game meaning I have to swap out star plays for 3-10 days or use injury cards which are not super common. Along with that update came a change to how you train people and now with that you can only train a select few people and that hardly levels people up, but it is even worse for the academy where it used to be players gained levels quick in the academy because they were new and young now when you train you can’t even train all your people in the academy and again you don’t get to pick but it seems like they do not gain the same amount of stats as they did before the update. Overall this new update was an attempt to force/entice you to spend money to make your team better.

This is a fun game to build your own hockey franchise! It's a new game in its infancy stage. It would be nice to see overall Average Ice Time. Also, to be able to view and compare team lineups in the middle of a game. :) I am frustrated with the game because I lost some development cards from the latest update.
