All too often developers consider UI/UX as more of an afterthought than an integral element of their software. I love that this developer kept it clean, simple, and used the iOS standard graphics. It makes the experience so much more pleasant and productive. On top of that, it seems like he really cares about making the best git client possible. Very refreshing.

Does not work properly with iOS file system

Files checked out in Working Copy are unavailable to any other application including inbuilt iOs 11 Files Manager, it just shows blank folder when I try to access files controlled by Working Copy. Trying to access Working Copy files glitches those apps so much that they need to be restarted to work properly again. I don't know what is the issue but it renders Working Copy only half as useful if I can’t edit files with an external editor.

Lost my remote

I run a flat-file CMS with a git sync plugin that supports webhooks - meaning all I need to do is push commits to my repo from my phone/iPad and my site is automatically updated. This is the desired workflow for me, as I’m not always in front of a computer. This workflow works flawlessly. I did encounter a bug with creating directories via the app, and Anders replied to my support request in less than 12 hours and provided an interim fix until it’s pushed live. Top-notch support for a top-notch app!

I use it daily to review new code in GitHub Enterprise repositories. The best feature for me is that I can use it offline without a need to be connected to the VPN. Viewing of files is easier than on GitHub thanks to better syntax highlighting. Full text search is a great feature that helps me to find what I need.

This app is way above and beyond anything I have seen developed. To put things into perspective, I’m not a git core expert, but I’m a professor in computer science. The reliability and integration is superb, the interface is powerful but keep peripheral things out of the way. The text editor is so good it actually beats more editor on an ipad, the list goes on and on. You learn from this app how to properly use git and an ipad. And most importantly, the developer is insanely thoughtful and caring. Had a problem once? gave me access to a more expensive version of the app that solved my pb. Had an issue with a pdf rendering? answered my email in 3h and solved the bug in the next issue (among ten other improvements) a few days later. If you have or want to use git, no hesitation before buying this pap. Every dollar invest in this app will pay for itself in a better way to work on your projects.

Great git app

I use this all day to review code, push, etc. Love the updates that take advantage of the iOS 11 Files provider and drag and drop. The dev works hard at updating the app too. I am just stunned every time I pull down on the home screen of my phone or iPad and type in the file name that I'm looking for and working copy comes back in the search results and I can go jump right into the file. Not to mention being able to open an entire repository in another app.

Really love the fact I can work with my Visual Studio Online git-based repos on the move, and the markdown preview, code edit/push and diff resolves all work as expected. Bring able to see latest repo changes in the client chronically on install was great. I was able to clone my repos with URL, username and git PAT and rock on.

Very well done, like really, this is an impressive app. Only feedback is very opinionated for my niche use of mobile repos which I use for markdown notes, and so my remark doesn’t make the app any less worthwhile: I wish the markdown support offered more GitHub flavoring. Also, full screen previewing would be nice (tap body to hide app footers/headers).
