Seriously, this is as good as it gets for Git on iOS. Tons of great, intuitive features and it's in active development.

I almost wrote "best git client for iPad", but it's so good I don't even realize I'm on the iPad. Working with this app is like working on my other computers. Sync is seamless and easy, and fast. I teach a course using git for class materials, planning, and student homework submission and grading. I did about half my git work on the iPad using Working Copy. No problems. I did have one problem of my own creation. I deleted a repo from github. Then when I updated Working Copy I had an SSH error. I contact the help desk. They responded within 12 hours, with both a solution to my problem AND an explanation of what the solution was doing. Excellent customer service.

Unlike most Git users, I'm a writer, not a coder. I use Working Copy to help keep my prose in sync over multiple devices (I consider the iPad my primary writing device). Integration with BitBucket is seamless. Thanks for a great tool!

Best git / bitbucket client available

I've tried many bitbucket clients and none worked with bitbucket server, the only worked with cloud. This is the only one I've found to work with pretty much any git server you're using. Not just the preconfigured box they want you to use.

This app is incredible! Making small changes to my code repos is now absolutely trivial! Super easy to use, and well worth the nominal fee to unlock push to remote repositories. When an app literally makes my life easier, I have to recommend it without hesitation or reservation. Get this!

Most functional git client on iPad

I needed a way to ensure that i can go through my private git repos on my iPad without having the need for a constant internet connection. Working Copy delivers the best experience so far; I am able to connect to both private and public repos on BitBucket. The navigation was very intuitive and fluid and did not need any handholding. The integrated editor is very good and am hoping to see richer features like syntax highlighting and support for hyperlinks in the future. Note: Did not try GitHub for private repos yet. Will update the review if i encounter any hiccups.

love the free-to-try then pay-to-push model. compared to other apps, i had no reason not to try. and when i did try, i found it to be an excellent product. setup is a snap and editing is a breeze. highly recommend this to any dev using an ipad pro that wants to make quick edits to git repositories.

Best git client and overall world-class app

This is truly the best app on my phone, hands down. As a git client, it rivals and even surpasses most web and desktop clients. As an app, it is constantly improved with new iOS features as they come out. Beautifully and thoughtfully crafted. What's not to love?
