It has become my go-to place for storing and keeping track of everything—not just to-dos and grocery lists, but my ideas for articles, all the notes I gather while reporting, all the tasks I need to do for those articles, and even all of the stuff I’m gathering for a book I’m working on.″

Simple, Easy, Helpful

The way I use it it’s like having a quest log to keep you on track, except you’re the one who writes it. You can use it to organize and prioritize your goals, brainstorm ideas, or something as mundane as keeping a shopping list. The app seems pretty barebones, which makes its use and features straightforward and easy, as long as you don’t mind the short trial and error period of finding all the buttons and features.

Great app

Does exactly what I need

I love Workflowy! The iPad app needs some TLC.

Workflowy on the Mac is wonderfully intuitive. Indenting, outdenting, moving, organizing, searching, creating links are all easy. I don’t need to relearn how to use it if I’ve taken a break for a while. On the iPad entering, deleting and searching is just as easy. But some things can be ... awkward. Moving an entry that involves scrolling can be an exercise in frustration. And as far as I can tell, only one bullet point at a time can by copied to the clipboard. Which is a major drawback when Workflowy is used to store often-used references.

Absolutely Phenomenal

They weren’t kidding when they said the entirety of your life could fit within one little node. Feels so good to have all those branching categorized lists and ideas expand into unlimited detail, while staying so clean and effortless. Between this and google calendar I’m set.

This app rocks!

My Favorite Infinite List App

I’ve been using Workflowy for about 2.5 years now. The online version does everything I need. The iOS version is almost there. I love the offline mode as my main use is actually vacation planning. My biggest issue with the mobile version is that I can’t move bullets around. I often change my mind on where I’m going or when, and it’s really annoying to have to manually retype things to reorder them. Dragging works great on the web app. Please bring it to the mobile version.

Simply the best

Everything you need, and nothing more.

Perfect until the last release

Thank God this app isn’t under “continuous development.” The day they add a font menu is the day I go back to pencil and paper. However, the most recent forced update introduced an interface delay: any tap now takes 500ms to register. Arrow expansions and level changes now all make me wonder for half a second if I missed the target area. I’m trying to think of it as Zen practice, but it definitely puts a crimp in my flow.
