Great Game but hate the extra “stuff”

Wish you would let us just pay the game. Stop with the badges, seeds, pins, what ever. A lot of meaningless stuff and ugly graphics. This is a great word game - no need to reinvent the wheel with unnecessary extraneous gimmicks. It is getting to the point where a notice or a box or a . . .popups between every play. And I have gotten to the point where I verbally tell it to go away and leave me alone. Please return our game and only the game! Reading this again I feel exactly the same. This is my favorite game of all games but I really dislike the extra stuff more and more - and I do get verbal
The ads are getting annoying

It’s bad enough there’s the temptation to purchase gameplay power ups, but to have an ad in between EVERY turn is excessive AND a banner ad, AND a paid sponsor for events- (Flo-Progressive). Not only that but some ads have a forced minimum viewing time, and the music for the ads is jarring and after hearing it 40 times, it seems psychologically painful. And to pay $9.99 PER MONTH to have ad-free is preposterous. I don’t even spend that much on my favorite magazines or news sites. Then I have to listen to the people who paid a one time premium years ago and have ad free for life so it’s especially irritating. Finally, when your ad queue or scheme has a gap and I just have to look at the black screen with the progress icon it’s so annoying I grip my device harder due to irritation and sometimes my hand gets sore. What is the driver of your ad revenue greed? All the consolidated Zynga Games? You have ruined what used to be one of my favorite hobbies. I hope your profit centered focus keeps you up at night.

My game is stopped mid play can’t restart no matter what I do! Starting to do this more often. Opponents get tired of mine stopping because they don’t even know WHY??? This is exactly what happens to me too! I didn’t write this but it’s annoying. This person gave 4 stars but I want to give it 1 right now. It’s Saturday and I wanted to play and it’s blacked out. It always does this after a update, is it coincidence or not??

I love this game and play A LOT. Why has it switched to only 2 instead of 3 coins for a daily bonus? And no ability to get more coins by watching an ad? Come on...? Also, recently there was a brief time when Solo Play only had to reach 100 points to get three stars. That was GREAT! But now it’s back to 200 and is virtually out of reach. ? ALSO, you can’t see each earned reward individually, but only all together and it seems I got very little for a purple mystery box. ? Come on, Zynga. Why so miserly all of a sudden?

I really enjoyed this app until the person I was conversing with decided to get my personal information and threatens my life as well as my family’s life.
Frustrating features

I read all the reviews. Sad that not one feature, that was commented on, was not fixed. Most comments are over a year old. I enjoy the game but due to being cutoff for accumulating 1500 coins, I will be deleting the app after I complete the 2 games I am currently playing. Feel like I am being punished for playing and not rewarded.

Well they fixed many of the previous issues, but now I earn achievements and don’t get the points. I show a bunch of numbers on my profile, but when I click nothing loads or changes. My level points stay the same. I also can’t play the new Daily Word Play. It does not show up at all.

Hi. Are you really working on a WWF dictionary or is that just something you’re saying? ? I come across these really weird words while playing Solo Play only to find out they aren’t “real” words. Just wondering.....

After all the years playing words, this particular version continually offers all vowels or all consonants several times throughout many games. It’s a fix

How do you get rid of the little red numbers on your name after you’ve earned an achievement? I’m up to 7 and it’s driving me nuts!
