I wish they wouldn’t use creepy characters and themes for Solo Challenge. Can’t you just keep it light and friendly for all users? I don’t believe in horoscopes or like Halloween themes.
Fake political ads & can’t send screen grab

No political ads, please—as if the regular b.s for apps and “local” services wasn’t bad enough. When you try to report the ad using Zynga’s “Inapprooriate ads” function, you’re unable to attach the screen grab to support your claim.

I’m very disappointed with this version. I’m not sure if there are glitches or what but I’ve noticed many times words that are used by opponents that are not acceptable words but they work regardless. YEZ, JE, VU, to name just 3. However once I saw these words were used by my opponents I’d try using them and they were rejected. Very frustrating.

It’s a fun game but it takes forever to load and it absolutely destroys your battery. Filled with bloat to hog your resources. Every update takes it longer to load and change pages. They’re always adding a way to give you ads.

Whoever is supposed to be fixing things for this game ignores Help requests and the game itself. For months I’ve asked them to find out why a bubble with a number over store can’t be cleared when it’s there for no reason for it to be there, especially after I’ve restarted, reloaded and cleared all options, and I get a canned response “we’re working hard on this issue.” Not. I brought up that the Ranking board no longer shows leader of total word scores and highest word score, and get same response “we’re aware and working hard on this issue.” Nothing has fixed either issues in latest update. Now today a daily challenge is to complete one solo challenge and there is no challenge to complete. Just a matter of time before this game disappears like their other games. Used to be fun to play.

Solo Challenge Changes

I’ve played every day for years and love the game. I overlook the new ‘words’ that aren’t words or other ‘words’ that used to not play then suddenly do. My complaint, and the reason for 4 stars, is with recent changes to the Solo Challenge. The number of days has been cut in half, and that’s unacceptable even if you allow the next challenge in fewer hours. Worst of all is letting ‘Easy’ and even ‘Very Easy’ challengers play very unusual words AND 30-point words time after time. I expect that against ‘Hard’ or ‘Very Hard’ ‘players’, but this is ridiculous. I’ve played against these computer challengers for as long as you’ve offered them, but recently it’s become unreasonably difficult to get through more than half of them. It can’t be coincidental, so please undo this change unless your goal is to drive long term players away permanently. Thank you.

It’s really annoying to always have a badge on the app and when I click on it, it’s usually nothing. Used to the badge meant that it was actually my turn from a real opponent.

I like this game as a periodic time filler. I like coming up with words and seeing if I’m making the most of my letters. I enjoy playing with people I know. I don’t want to play in groups or with strangers, and don’t care about silly challenges and goals. I don’t want to be bugged to participate or penalized for not. I do like the solo event so I can keep practicing, and it’s fun that I can actually win sometimes. However, something has changed. The games used to progress in difficulty, but now they are all over the place. I just finished the first level of a new solo event labeled “very easy”. My ‘opponent’ scored 38 points on the first word. Seriously? In the very easy category? I maxed out the word strength meter on every turn but was only able to win by spending 30 extra coins to earn 7 needed points. The opponent had a final score of 172. I would expect this on a more challenging level, but not the first one. I don’t care about coins or the extra perks. I’d rather have a fair opponent.
