Ads sound even in vibrate mode

How do you expect me to want to play your game when every time I play a word, the sound for the ad blasts through my speakers even when my phone is silenced?

They sent out an update that addressed this but the top bar is still messed up. Looks terrible.

Ridiculous amount of ads

I️ would expect less ads from a company as large as Facebook. Literally an ad every single time I️ play someone.

How do I turn off sound. Hate it when others are watching tv and I want to play words, they don’t like the sounds interrupting their tv. Wish I had my last words with friends, don’t like this one very much.

The game itself is awesome. Beautiful UI, easy to use, fun to compete. But the badges and coins and rewards and events etc etc etc take up valuable screen real estate and are visually distracting. Also? I don’t like being forced to claim daily rewards before I can play. I don’t track them or care about them - they’re just speed bumps. My family is scattered around the country, and WWF is one way we connect. I wish there was a setting to turn the “gamification” off so we can just play the real game more easily and quickly. We really do love it.

This new version of Words with Friends is too busy. The home screen has lots of distractions on it. I like the old app better. Daily rewards now require you to tap 3x -- tap to go to the reward screen, tap to open the reward, and tap to go back to the main screen. The animations make it annoyingly slow. Again, the old app was better -- open the app, boom, there's your reward displayed. No need to tap to collect.

Ditch the flash - Dangerous to Epilepsy

I like playing this game when I just need a few minutes to relax. It also is good to challenge the brain. But the flash for “lightning round” has got to go. Did you know that a flashes like that can actually trigger a seizure for epilepsy patients? Yeah... dangerous then. Do you want to get media attention for the WRONG reason? Like a doctor attributing a seizure to this game? Ditch the flash... NOW
