Word Snack was created by the Interdisciplinary Game Studio class during Fall 2014 at Hampshire College. Led by Professors Chris Perry and Ira Fay, the team of 34 members from the Five College consortium created WordSnack from scratch in four months. All assets in the game are available for non-commercial use on wordsnack.net.

One of the most fun word games I've played in a long time. The characters are original and cute, and trying to beat my high score is addictive. My favorite combination is Megan and Fred right now!

Okay, this is one of the freshest word games I've played. The space diner setting is really fun, and I love trying to match the tastes of the different characters! My kids are super into it too. This is a great, free game.

This is a really cool twist on typical word games. Matching the character tastes is challenging but you get a really high score. Love it!

This game is really fun and unlike most games nowadays, wordsnack has no in-app purchases, so it's actually completely free. 10/10 would recommend

A fun twist on word games

A creative take on scrabble-esque games. I love how there's a leisurely "casual lunch" mode and timed "lunch rush" mode which offer different play styles for different moods. It's great to play a word game that has such a fun and creative twist to it. Not to mention the fantastic HD art and awesome music. The alien patrons are all really fun to watch.... They're all really quirky (Stella is my favorite)
