Great replacement for the old scrabble!
Bbartonutk

Broken hearted when they discontinued the ea scrabble and replaced it with crackhead Vegas glitz scrabble go. This is a nice replacement.

Weird dictionary. Good gameplay

I love this game. Just upgraded to the Pro version but have been playing the free version for ages. So glad I finally upgraded. No more rolling, scrolling, flashing ads at the top of the game, yea! Whether you have the free version or the pro version, this is the game to have if you like scrabble games.

Love it

This app is great! Scrabble Go is truly a garish nightmare that has no appeal for people who are actually interested in Scrabble. Wordmaster Pro is a totally decent subsitute for the decommissioned EA app that we loved so well. I like the quick and easy definition lookup, just for curiosity's sake. One slight annoyance for me is that you can't change the colors of the bonus squares: the green double-letter squares throw me off sometimes because they remind me more of the TL than the DL color on a real Scrabble board. I enjoy how you don't get to see the master's highest scoring moves until after you've made your play. The only major thing missing is that you can't play against strangers online. Maybe that function is coming soon?

Great game!

If you like Scrabble, you’ll love this game. You can play anytime and there’s no endless waiting for your ‘opponent’ - your computer- to play a word. I never tire of it.

Finally, a real Scrabble alternative

Love this game. Spring for the paid version for sure. Only 2 small criticisms: I would prefer more accurate colors for the double and triple word/letter squares, and it would be helpful to be able to separate groups of letters in the letter tray to better visualize options. Otherwise, great game.

Quick

This is the best scrabble or word game out there, hands down.

Great fun, but . . .

I am enjoying Word Master Pro. While playing the computer has made me a better player, I think the computer has an unfair advantage in that it appears to have a choice of any letters to use while the human player is given only seven letters letters. Let’s make it equal in possibility. Why not have the computer also have a set of seven letters to use? Also, why can’t we challenge if a word is not accepted as a dictionary word? Speaking of the dictionary, why not use a dictionary of American English usage. I am not saying not to use words from other languages because American English has adopted thousands of words from the languages of our immigrants. I do not recall if this can be used by speakers of various languages. If this so, match the dictionary to the main country of the language. I realize that would be difficult with Spanish due to the great number of countries whose main language is Spanish, but please, Luis Gualandi, work on the two dissatisfactions I have: evening the playing field with the letters the computer can choose from and choose a dictionary with research behind it. Thank you for reading comments. I do like this game, but work on making it better.
