Formerly a loyal regular listener. Moved on to podcasts because this app is so horrible. Requires me to keep the screen on and use no other apps. Suddenly stops and I have to restart and re-listen to the commercials. Good-bye Larry, Mary, Chris.
Forced Login is a Deal Breaker

No reason to surrender personal info or FB info to be able to use this app. Too many hoops to jump through to get to the stream. You also get jammed with additional commercial before the stream begins...many better options out there! Much easier to just use TuneIn to get WMAL. BTW iHeart app much easier to use if you just want the usual syndicated shows.

This app always drops. Now you have to give your email and information to listen to the station. Hooray freedom. Next they will force you to watch a 40 second game intro or commercial when the app drops you.

I to am sick and tire of where you people are heading. I have been listening for a long time. There are now times I am uncertain to what is going on half the program I guess is a commercial then I receive a commercial from the DJ about something other than what they were talking about. The only one and time I am able to count on is Rush and Mark Levin. This wmal has gone to the dogs and now I am looking for a better kennel

I love WMAL and the hosts they broadcast. This app is the worst on my phone. It crashes and drops the broadcast constantly. Since the last update when the app crashes it WILL NOT open and play again for at least 3 or 4 minutes. This is the case on the current iOS as well as one revision back. Cumulus! Get your crap together and fix your app, please!

This app is annoying garbage from a company that clearly does not understand its users. First, now they require you to make an account and login. Never needed it before, shouldn’t need to now. Second, they made the terrible decision to include an auto play ad before the app starts. Some stupid game that opens the App Store when you try to click to close. This would nit be so bad if the app operated consistently and didn’t need to be restarted often, forcing you to tolerate the same annoying and irrelevant ad over and over. Annoying when you are trying to listen to a talk radio station and you end up missing much of the conversation. They just don’t get it. Already looking for another solution and erase this thing. Every time they try to improve it, they just make it worse.
