NOTES:
Upon launching the app, you will be prompted to download Wikipedia onto your device. It has been meticulously compressed (English is 4.0GB) while maintaining all of the data in every single article. (Note that pictures and tables are not included, but can be downloaded from within the app). This download is fully resumable and hosted on high speed servers located around the world.
The initial download requires WiFi. If you don't have WiFi, you can email support for instructions on how to download the files and transfer them through your computer.
After the initial download, you will be able to browse all Wikipedia articles without internet access.
You can download the latest version of the database in the app, or you can download additional languages. Please note that there is a nominal $0.99 fee to partially offset our costs to deliver such large files.
TIPS:
- Instantly scroll to the beginning of an article by tapping the status bar (the very top of the screen)
- Double tap in an article to switch to full screen mode
- Pull down on the top of an article to lock the screen orientation
- Pinch an article to change the font quickly
- Pull down on the language list in the settings to check for updates

Can’t get support without being able to access website. App does not open properly on my phone It shows language settings and is stalked there. Works on iPad but not phone

Es una estafa, no deja descargar la base de datos, abres la app y solo ves una pantalla en blanco, me robaron, pues apple ya no devuelve el dinero.
Paid for data base, will not load on reinstall.

This app does not allow me to access my databases (that I paid for). It now no longer works. I will be uninstalling it. It’s too bad, as it was a fine app for the few months in which it worked.

Do not waste your money on this app it doesn't get past first screen, language selection screen. I going to try getting my money back since this is a $10.00 application. What a disappointment, how does Apple allow these apps to get on the store?

I purchased this app and it does not have any databases to download. I talked with Apple about this to no avail - they were surprisingly unhelpful, and did not seem at all perturbed that a scam app is on their apple-approved App Store. So the only thing I can do to help is to write this review to NOT purchase this. Yes, I have tried umpteen times to contact Avocado Hills, and they do not respond. Please beware of potential scam and stay away from this.
