I was searching for an easy to use photobooth app to pair with my Canon DSLR. This app works with my camera's wifi and uploads to Dropbox which I'm hoping to use as a real-time slideshow. Looking forward to using this at my next party.

This is the only app that I have found that I can use a higher quality camera to take the actual picture and use my iPad to preview. It's easy to set up and you do not need a camera. It's does work using the iPad only but the quality of the pictures can be controlled better on my canon. I have used it for a couple of events at work and everyone loves it. I wish I could customize the collage in the small events version. I don't know if I will use it enough to buy a subscription.

Wifibooth has everything a hobbyist or professional would want in a photo booth app. It's a breeze to use with options to use the built in camera or many different wifi enabled cameras. The developer has even a companion app for finagling a wireless printer setup while connected to a camera's wifi network! One nitpick for Sony cameras using the remote shutter app (I'm using a nex-6): I believe the remote shutter app can send only a low res image to the phone and save the full res image to the sad card (this is how the Sony app works, at . Not sure if this is available to developers). Wifibooth can only receive the full image taken. So, photos may need to be taken at a lower resolution to keep upload time reasonable for an event. This isn't a major problem because most of the time the images are printed at a small scale or paced on social networks. It would be nice, though, to be able to save the full res that the camera is capable of.

Using this for a friends wedding since I have my own personal DSLR setup. It saved them a bunch of money since they didn't have to rent a setup and my camera takes better photos than the standard photo booth anyhow. It's pretty easy to setup and you can test it out before you buy.

A little tricky to set up the email attachment feature, but we were able to get it done. I'm not sure if the app "queues" the pictures when you don't have Internet available. Over all easy to use once it's set up.
