I have a 2200 sq ft house on two levels - this helps me find the best spots as I move and test my router in different locations.

This app was very useful, but either the latest app version or an IoS update killed it. Only shows 0 for speed. Hoping they will fix it soon.

Bought the app not because I cared about adds but wanted to support the developers and show my appreciation (note-I have no affiliations with app or developers)

Cool app but has some flaws, I wish you could see what frequency your connected on or channel. MAC address tend to not update even when L2 roaming with Cisco WLC (seems like they just need to call for a refresh of that function every so often). Heat map with DB or RSSI could be innovative and nice to see.

Our home is 2 floors around 1800 sq ft each. In positioning wireless router it was necessary to use a netgear range extender in several places. This app was essential in optimization of locations. You can’t amplify and relay a signal if it’s not there. Am very happy with SweetSpot .

If you have dead spots, placing your wireless router is critical. This app takes the guesswork in placing the router to get the best reception performance at your designated connection spots.

Great app.... but it drives me insane that to do a useful 1 minute test I have to HOLD the button for 60 full seconds and ADD 60 to the current running time. The only useful way to run this tests is in 30, 60 or 90 second scans for average speed.... why can’t this have a simple preference to set an average scan time ? Also, another minor annoyance is the super short pop up of suggested names when you want to rename a location. This should be a full size lists with permanent custom default names as well as recent names . I love this app.. LOVE it! But those 2 things drive me absolutely batty nuts every time with frustration.
