Just as advertised

App does everything it says it does. UI is clean and easy to use.

Helpful!

Works to rate and measure wifi at home and business ... shows data transfer quality as you walk around. Worked great for me to fine tune my network!

Useful

While indirectly measuring WiFi signal by measuring data throughput it is helpful in finding weak spots that can be rectified by adjusting router location and/or height or adding an extender at an appropriate location. To aid the casual and newbie users, there ought to be a strong reminder that this measurement has nothing to do with the ISP connectivity.

Excellent App! Easy & Useful!

I've used it about 50 times already to check out my wifi. I used it to figure out where to set up my hardware and to test out variables and interference issues. It is what it says it is!

Sticks with first AP info. Can't provide feedback within app.

When passing through different access points of the same wifi name/credentials (poor-man's-mesh-networking) the mac address of the wifi access point never updates but the signal meter continues (you can't map overlapping "cells" to know which AP you're connected to so you know which AP to adjust). It stays as the mac addr first AP you started on. The feedback window doesn't scroll and the keyboard covers all but four lines of text. You can't read what you've typed without painfully dismissing the keyboard and hope you hit the right word to edit. When I tried to submit this feedback in-app it told me to enter an email address in the settings menu, but there's no place in the settings menu inside the app to do that. I have to supply feedback through a review.

Works as per description ?.

4 stars because...

... the name of the app should be, at the icon on homescreen, without the 'spots', just Wi-Fi Sweet, so it won't have the 3 dots at the end.

Good app to check signal strength
