Buggy

Charmanderik

My ISP's installer recommended this for me to check the Wifi speed between the AP and my iPhone. At first it seemed to work but soon became buggy. I would start next to my AirPort Extreme and this app would report 500mbps. Good. I moved to another room several walls away and the speed dropped to 60. Good. But when I moved back to the Airport spot, the speed remained at 60. I quit the app via Task Switcher and relaunched it, still only 60! I tried again and the app froze at "preparing..."! Now it always freezes. So strange and bad.

Great app to quickly measure wifi network strength

This app is a pretty good idea so you can tell where your wifi network needs improvement. It is not a DSL speed checker, if you need that, get cloud check.

Works well, nice GUI

Works as advertised. Let's you find the sweet spots for your router.

Simple app. Access the wifi of choice. Wander around checking the strength. If you don't like the result, move the router.

Simple, effective

Amazingly intuitive and meaningful Helped me find wifi issue in my house in less than 5 min

Speeds are inflated by at least 4 times?

This app had me so confused. It shows speeds throughout my house of somewhere between 20-250mbps. I only have 50mbps from my internet provider. I thought it must have been using some different measure of speed until I tried some other apps and none of them gave me large numbers like this one. I guess it was helpful in identifying places where speed is slower than others by comparing the speed in one room versus another even though I have no idea what the actual speed is.

Great utility

Works great for finding dead spots

It can tell you whether or not your Internet connection is active.

I use this smartphone productivity app to measure the strength of my Internet connection whether it be at home, work, school, or abroad. It definitely performs its main function quite well although sometimes I have issues with this app. The only way you'll know if this app floats your boat is if you test it out just like I did awhile ago.
