Great!

Bellappeal

This was my first time working with the app. And it seemed to be doing great. It seemed like it was easy for the people that was running the conference. I would definitely try to use this app for further business conferences in the future.

Cmc feedback

Whova is easy to use. I like the time zone feature which eliminates geographical time translation. The video quality is overall stable and descent. The community board chat is very engaging which mades the event fun.

Whova app

WHCC_GAO

The Whova app is very easy to use and it contains so rich contents for a conference. I can find and select events I am interested with a few clicks. I can also save my selected events to my calendar for reminding me prior to a meeting start. So I won’t miss any part of the meetings I registered. It’s a very handy Mobil application for a big conference like CMC. Only thing I think it needs to improve is the streaming speed. It should be more smooth to avoid waiting for buffering, which occur quite frequently during a meeting.

Great Experience

I felt like I had many avenues to communicate with recruiters and fellow auditioners, it felt like a community fr.

Whova app

This app is so easy to use. I attended a virtual conference using the Whova app. This app was easy to navigate. I loved how I was able to set my own itinerary and the app would email me reminders about the events. I also like how the information will be available to me even after this event. I also really liked that I was able to see pictures from the people attending my event and that I was able to keep digital notes on the speakers. I thought this app was really good and it made me feel as if I was almost there…

Private message quota

Morgan Guyton

I’m a volunteer at an online conference whose role was to reach out privately to conference attendees to ask if they had any prayer requests for our conference. Because there was an unstated quota of the number of private messages I could send, I got banned from sending private messages without warning. There were multiple prayer requests I wasn’t able to respond to. The conference organizers told me the feature is hard-coded into the app and the support staff can’t do anything about it. I don’t know if there are other hidden nanny features to the software but I didn’t appreciate being punished by the app for doing my job.

Inadequate privacy and notification controls

briddreamr

Tips are sent as direct messages every couple of hours, which has gotten pretty annoying. There is no notification setting to shut them off. There is no ability to mute or block the individual contacts messaging me if they are inappropriate or annoying. As a conference speaker currently forced to interact on this platform, I hope to never use it again.

Great App

appletech07

This is a great platform and despite the many notifications and hard to keep up with the amount of events happening, the app is set up perfectly to handle this large kind of conference! I met some great friends through groups in the app and meetups!
