Would be ok if it worked.

I can’t believe this is Amazon’s app. The app worked for a minute when I first installed it but, now I get a message, “try again”. Doesn’t matter when I open it or where I open it, it never works. Amazon, if you want to track your customer’s purchases at Wholefoods you’ve got to fix this app!

This app doesn’t belong to this era

Spikycreature

This old fashioned app can’t ever match to its rivals.

Could do more

morganfitzp

So it’s a QR scan that lets Amazon track what I buy under the guise of saving 50¢ on something. This app could do s lot more. The other tabs offer product suggestions, but there’s no way to enter preferences (why are showing me all this cheese when I’ve got a dairy allergy?) And if Amazon knows what I’m buying thanks to the QR scan trick, then why doesn’t this app send me alerts when my favorite stuff goes on sale so that I can come rushing back to their store to give them all my money? I expect more from one of biggest tech giants on the planet. One star for you, Whole Foods app.

Useless app

Is this a joke? Pull up a barcode and view sales catalogs

No search capability

Mmr-food

Useless for trying to find what you are looking for from home. No way to enter a search. I don’t want to bother scrolling through a random ordering of things on sale that have nothing to do with what I ever eat. God knows what they have if it isn’t in the sales stuff. Can’t believe this is related to Amazon, the gurus of online shopping — maybe it’s really Amazon, as in the river in the rainforest.

Track me

artskool

Why don’t they give you a keychain with your barcode on it? I can only assume it is so they can explicitly associate your device with your bardcode, with your amazon card. Plus, now I get to fiddle with my phone instead of saying “hi” and chit chatting with the grocery clerk. This app is a few revisions away from tracking where you are in the store, and how it relates to your purchasing decisions. This information will be then sold to the brands that Whole Foods stocks. Welcome to the future!

Good enough

I already have a shopping list app I like (that lets you sort by store, btw), so I don’t need or want this app to get bloated like my other grocery & drugstore apps. I like that it shows Prime-specific deals, but it’d be nice if they showed the regular sales, too. If the developers add that plus a sale/coupon clipping feature, instead of the weak shopping list the haters whined for, then this app can get 5 stars. Please keep this app as small as possible!

Useless

You can’t really create a custom list here. There are some generic categories (bread) that you can add but it’s really not impressive. Aside from that the text compressed in an odd way on iPhone making it unreadable. You’re better off with pen and paper or the notes app on iPhone. (I have a running WF list in Notes and it’s way more usable than this mediocre app.)

barcode screen blindness

mousekiewicz

i like the app as well as the recently-added feature to make a grocery list. however, when you open the app it starts on the prime barcode page, which forces your screen to be at its brightest. i have accidentally blinded myself numerous times while laying in bed thinking about things to add to my shopping list for the week. fix this, please. please default the app to load on a different screen.

Needs monetary spending on the list

Big frowns

PLEASE add up the cash total to keep track of spending while shopping from your list.... such a waste of time to have to pop in and out of the app constantly while shopping to keep a running tab going.... grrrrr
