Tech support is hard to reach

Unless you do a lot of digging, tech support is hard to find and talk to. This tracker is not updating with new locations and tech support takes several days to respond and has not fixed the problem
Doesn’t work

Tracking system does not work, I have one for each dog. Called customer service, took days to hear back then the lady I spoke with had attitude as I wanted to cancel. She “fixed” the problem, but within 3 days both dog trackers again not working. It’s been 192 days since they worked, sadly signed up for year plan

Every technology has its issues and Whistle is no different, so there’s always room for improvement. BUT my dog has gone on unauthorized walkabouts three times since she’s had a tracker and EVERY time the tracker led me straight to the address where she was located, getting her back to me in under 20 minutes. In my opinion this device pays for itself in peace of mind, which is the only currency that matters when it comes to my fur baby.

Terrible time. Paying subscription for Whistle that does not work!!!! Whistle contacted me by email with confusing directions and a comment that stated after a few years the battery may go. Understatement to say the least. Won’t last a single day. Very unhappy.

Similar to others that rated it one star, lots of issues. We bought our tracker shortly before they updated models. I have sent numerous emails and spent hours on the phone with their service department trying to fix the issues with it. Their solution is to throw it away and buy the new upgraded unit. We have been paying the monthly fee, but I have lost faith in the product and the reliability. It will not charge properly, and does not communicate all the time. It’s a great idea, but it needs to have a lot of work to gain my confidence bag!

This is the most wonderful item in the world!! I believe I would be dead from worry if it were not for Tagg. I just read the most negative review about Tagg. What?! Never have I ever had more than a few minutes to wait for a location. And I live in the Sierra Mountains. Besides this, I have used this GPS since it was Whistle. That was 12-15 years ago. It has so much improved! My dogs at that time would take off if, by accident, they were ever outside together. I chased them all over, like “ALL” over, the United States. This includes the plaines of Wyoming, the deep woods of Tennessee and the freeways of San Diego. My current dogs do not run away but I like the comfort of knowing I can find them even if they are accidentally shut in a bedroom. I highly, highly recommend Tagg!! Suzanne Forthofer
Fabulous for cats too!

We live out in the country where coyotes roam at night. Whistle helps me to get both cats in at night. Without it, I would be opening the door every 5 minutes to see if they were home or not. It’s a life and time saver!

The whistle satellite view is at least seven years behind. I built my house in 2012 and it still does not show my house on satellite. Real time tracking takes too long. There should be a credit for trade-in.

Almost immediately upon purchasing this product it failed and then failed again and then failed again. Now I’m left with and on trustworthy product with the additional problem that the battery barely holds a charge for more than two days. Very disappointing product. Customer service is very responsive but their concern is pretend. All they really want you to do is to buy the next generation of their product. Spur more sales.
