Half the stuff on here is people selling sex and drugs. And my posts are always flagged and deleted yet other people’s vulgar posts and scams get to stay?? Nope I’m done with this BS app. Not letting it waste my time any more. The original idea for this platform was great but it’s now a cesspool.

Full of Abuse/Bullying and Other General Probs

Basically the title. I typically don’t care about all the bullying on a regular day, but today I’m feeling some type of way about it. First it’s very easy to flag whispers and then the whisper bot will just automatically delete it whether the whisper was actually offensive or not. It gets incredibly annoying to get a notification that someone has liked or replied to my reply or whisper but bc someone didn’t like it and then flagged it too, I can’t see which whisper it was or what the reply said. And then there are the DMs. So many terrible DMs. Anyone can slip into someone’s DMs to converse or bully. And today someone (probably the same person who deleted all my replies bc I’m assuming they hurt his feelings even though I wasn’t talking or responding to him in the first place) decided to send a hate piece to me putting down all women and ending by telling me to choke on my father’s penis, probably giving me a low chat rating, and blocking me. Very hateful, ya know? and I know that nothing is actually going to be done about it (I blocked him back) because nothing ever is. So I guess I’m wondering if I give this super low rating if something will actually be done about the sheer amount of bullying and hate on this app.

Can’t make a post without a bunch of bots hitting you up. There are also tons of predators on the app. The chat system is also somewhat broken. Chats might not stay deleted no matter how many times you try. Chat ratings should be abolished as well. Someone will give you a one star rating simply for refusing to send a pic. This app is pure trash.

Users are free to spam and send links with the intentions of creating viruses or steal your info. For new users you could likely fall prey. I wonder what Whisper does with the users you block for unethical behavior, it doesn’t seem like there’s any consequences because scammers come back for more. I assume whisper allows them to recreate an account and continue to create a toxic environment. How can someone receive over 2,000 bad chat ratings (likely for spam, solicitation, abuse, harassment, etc.) and Whisper continues to allow them to use the platform recklessly? It’s just not adding up and it seems like the app developers could care less about any of the users complaints. This needs to be fixed immediately.
