Whisper the home for sex and hookup and escorts. This has gone down hill it’s worse then a dating app or Facebook.

I thought I would check this app out and was immediately greeted with posts of people spreading dangerous misinformation about COVID and vaccines, fake news, homophobia and racism, blatant use of slurs, and bullying of other members. It’s unfortunate that Whisper is allowing their platform to be used this way and seems to be complacent in its misuse. There should be better filtering for apps like this that flags these topics and better filters out the use of slurs. Not sure if there is already but people are succeeding getting around them.

I love this app but it would be great if we could block a user simply based on what they post. You have to waste your energy and actually chat with the poster. Why would I want to chat with someone who’s whisper alone us repulsive or repetitive?!

You can block DMs but then the person just harassed you on your posts. I’ve been called slurs by men upset that I won’t send them pics and it’s sad they can do that freely

This app is literally one of my favorite apps to use especially when I’m feeling depressed… it’s fun and amazing to use but when you send a message sometimes it’ll will put the message you just sent like up above the others as if you sent it earlier than that. It’s pretty weird but I still like using it and talking to random people
Post not showing on time

Not a bad app. Certain things should be updated to make the App work better. When posting a whisper who do some post right away and others take hours to show up in the group A lot of whisper post does not post. Why is that?

i have an iphone 13 pro and the app UI extends all the way up to where my time and battery icons are and i cant back out of groups i have to close the whole app if i want to leave a group this is highly annoying. i had the same issuse with my iphone SE.
