I like this app a lot. It has changed considerably with the update but it is free and pretty darn good. I use it more than almost any other knot app I have. I do wish they would make it easier to find in the App Store. I have frequently had to go find it on Columbia's website to reload it on a new machine.
Great Knot App and Recently Updated

This app has some great illustrations for knots and it finally got updated a few days ago after years of no updates. I emailed Columbia asking for it and then it came out a week later. Coincidence? Anyways, good app to have and study BEFORE you go outside and need to tie knots.

Love the new look/feel to the app, as well as an increase of different kind of knots! I've been using this app for quite some time now, I find the visual steps wonderful and almost always easy to follow. It's a great tool for learning new knots and refreshing your memory with knots you already know! It would be nice to be able to swipe right and left rather than having to click the back button on the top left but I'm sure that feature will come in time!

Leaves little more to be desired, however, some knots are tied in 3-4 steps when they need 5-6. This and some of the descriptions of uses are a bit lackluster, I need to know less about Ashley (sorry man) and more about if it will collapse under a load. A bit more description and this app will be a 5/5. Great update guys keep it coming!

Great resource but app size?!

Loads of knots and really helpful, but 300MB is a lot of space for a utility app like this. I suppose if you really need to know that knot, you'd let it take up 2GB, but just to carry around an app that large in order to learn some knots occasionally is a bit much.
