Doesn't work with camera or photos. Would have give it zero stars if I could have done so.

Let's be honest, it's an awesome idea. Never seemed to be fully worked out though. One in four attempts to get it to work is successful, otherwise it just sits there and you can't access or take pictures. And somehow 4 pictures of the same Rhodesian ridgeback I own all net different answers. She went from miniature pinscher to Rhodesian to basenji and finished off with the app telling me she's not even a dog. Would be awesome and totally worth buying if they put more work into it. Sadly it was deleted, doesn't work enough to keep.

They do show the dog breeds, but on the options they left out pit bull. I put a pic of my dog, and they said dog breed not found.

Suggestion: add the ability to enter the dogs weight. Then it might stop guessing that my 130 lb Great Dane is a Pointer or a Basenji. The best it ever did was 0.1624% chance that she's a Dane, and it needed a near perfect profile standing fully erect to do even that well. It might be too focused on coloring - she's a piebald.

I won't get into the whole "how terrible the UI design is...". But I will tell you my experience, I used the same dog pic and submitted to their web version of this application and this application too. The same dog scored a 60% as an Italian Greyhound in this app and in the web app it was listed as a Labrador Retriever. Same application logic ran in both and completely different results. Typical MS application.

My dogs are little rescue puppies and when we got them we had no clue what they were. I found this app and tried it out and it gave me one main option as well as several others on what they could be which was great! A lot of people are complaining though. Of course the app needs to be updated, the interface is a bit dated. But the idea that the app isn't 100% accurate it ridiculous. OF COURSE IT WON'T BE 100% CORRECT, YOU'RE ONLY SENDING IN A PICTURE NOT A DNA SAMPLE! This is the best free app there is no question it gives you all the information you need. If you want complete accuracy buy the $5.99 app or get your dog a DNA test!!

I was skeptical because of the other reviews, but to my surprise it worked really well! It got my Newfoundland from just a picture of his face! I'm impressed!

This app works on my computer and my Android phone. The same photos are "not found" using my iPod and iPad. Maybe It shouldn't be offered if not compatible with iOS. Not surprising Apple Store has yet another issue and continues to blame others. Glad to see larger developers are stepping away from App Store on iOS. I will not purchase anything Apple again. They also blame the music artists for taking music out of iTunes and now I cannot listen to music that I rightfully purchased. Hundreds of dollars out the window.
