Great store, lousy app

sNickyO

Incredibly un-friendly, unintuitive app!

Problems with search persist

a non-emouse

In the store, scanning an item right from the shelf delivers the message item cannot be found. Inventory controls are so poor the app is barely useful. Search on the app is rudimentary requiring exact product name to find. If you are lucky enough to be near a Kroger store, their app excels at everything the Wegman’s app is unable to do. Wegman’s should take lessons from Kroger.

Needs upgrade and redesign

The app asks me to sign in nearly every time I use it. I’ve suggested that the Wegmans company make it a Touch ID type app... this would keep me from spending time searching for the info and reentering it. Given how Wegmans management moves everything all the time, can it just update my favorites with the info? And why no Watch app even tho there is an app for iPad? Who takes their iPad shopping with them, Wegmans? I need to scan the Wegmans card on my iPhone then use my Watch for the Apple Pay part. Given how Wegmans insists on product placement, can the App direct me to the specific section in an aisle rather than a general aisle location like it does now? Just very underpowered and disappointingly difficult to use.

Get Rid of Forced Log In

BlondStranger

On the positive, this app is a real in-store time saver, once you have your list entered. On the negative, entering your list can be downright painful. First, it REQUIRES you to log in. Why? Even worse, once you log in, your credentials actually expire. Why? I have several "loyalty" type apps that do not require me to log in, nor should they. The app is on my pass code protected phone. If you are going to be a pain and force me to log in, then KEEP me logged in. I don't remember my credentials, and I do not keep them on my phone. I'm sick and tired of running to Wegmans to pick up a few items only to realize that my app is as useless as bull teets because Wegnans has decided that I no longer need to be logged in. It's ridiculous! Next, returning to your list from the search function can be a little clunky. Ditch the log in requirement and you have a 4-star app, at the minimum. With this requirement, and its time out function, I'm being generous by giving it a second star.

Forced Updates!

v115

Forced updates while you are trying to lookup something quickly in the store make this app less useful than opening a wegmans.com in Safari. It is literally faster to find what you need on the website than using this “app”. And the fact that it does not remember your store (without forcing you into creating yet another useless account) makes it slower still, if that was even possible. UPDATE: It just did it again. Sigh

Doesn't work

MondoTE11

Can't search anything or delete my old list. Awful.

Best app ever!!

Joao_dche

Amazing app!! Life changer!

Good. How about some Watch love?

Les S

Passbook support on the iPhone! That's a huge improvement. Barcode on Watch in the wallet please. My List support on the watch would be useful as well.

Loved it...now annoying

WickedCanuck

I always loved this app. It has now started acting up. I deleted items from my list and added others. After I close the app and then come back to it, my deleted items were back on the list and the new additions were gone. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. I rebooted my phone. None of this has helped. Wegmans, please fix this! Update: OK back to loving this app. All is fixed…maybe just an iPhone glitch vs app glitch. Unlike some others I don't have to sign in every time I use it and it does sync with all my devices...iPhone, iPad & computer. Wish other grocery store apps were as user friendly.

Useless App

REKWJK

Every time I go to use the app it needs me to "login". When I'm in the store I don't remember my login credentials. This is a grocery store app not a banking app. I'm not concerned if someone hacks my grocery list (I'm sure no one is interested in it). Get rid of the login expiration!
