UPDATE: as of September 28, I can again navigate days without paying even more for a “subscription.” This is a good program, as close as I’ve found to the beauty of Palm’s system for managing appointments. I purchased this app in full before the “subscription” scam came around. They used to try selling additional calendars for extra profit and were a little too aggressive with their advertising but the basic functions I bought worked. However, the latest update killed off all the functionality I bought the program for. It’s nearly useless to me now, the “Day” view I rely on is dead, they now want a recurring ransom, errr “subscription” to use what I already paid them for. Criminal. I’ll wait a little bit and see if they fix this for people who already paid them. If not, I’ll file a complaint with Apple for this fraud and encourage other users to do the same. I want a refund. Any alternatives to this that don’t rip off their customers?

When you update the app, withOUT WARNING you will LOSE ACCESS to EVERYTHING in your calendar except viewing that one day - unless of course you agree to pay them yearly. This is a great app BUT they’ve hijacked my entire schedule - personal & business - without warning. I find this unethical and certainly not customer-centric. I’ve been a customer now for over a decade. Clearly it’s time to move on fast.

woah, I have been using this app for years with no problems. They now want me to upgrade and pay. I cannot use my calendar now without relentless pop ups that circle and circle. Do not purchase!!

The entries are so tiny that you can’t read them on an iPad Pro. The calendar I added (for US Presidents) just shows a bar at the very top of the column, that says “US presidents” but when you click in it, shows no info, such as: which president’s birthday is it?

10/1 UPDATE: the developers restored the pro functionality I had already paid for with a new update within a couple of days of all the one star reviews. I stand by the one star rating though. This is the second time the developers have pulled this stunt in two years. Original review: Over six years ago, I paid for the pro version because this was THE BEST calendar in the App Store at the time. It was a one time payment. As other reviews have pointed out with the most recent upgrade, I can’t click on an event to see the details, swipe to a different month, basically I can’t do anything without getting a pop up screen that says I need to pay for the pro version (again) AND now it’s an annual subscription. There’s another version of the app in the App Store that appears to be a one time payment but it’s $30 - the most expensive calendar app in the store! (This app is great when you have the basic features, but it’s not worth that much.) Either way, this developer isn’t respecting previous pro purchases and just wants more money out of longtime users! No longer recommend any app from them and looking at alternative calendar apps.

Excellent App. Only wish I could show the “scheduled events” before “unscheduled events” in the daily calendar view.
