I've tried a number of calendars and none of them come close to how 'weekcal' performs. The developer of this app listens to the needs and changes, and upgrade the app in timely manner. I can't complain, this calendar is the one you will ever need.

BUYER BEWARE! The latest revision 9.6 introduced bugs not seen in previous revisions. Example: Adding a new event that starts with a number automatically adds a numbered emoji as a prefix. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS REVISION!

Update: as much as I LOVE this app and use it daily, this newest update has made it unusable. I can't open event, and the app freezes. Hoping that a quick update to fix this will be in store so I can actually use the app. Previous review, 5 stars: I use google calendar with 10 different calendars, and week cal make everything easy to see and use. I use the agenda view in vertical mode and the month view when I turn to horizontal/landscape- so I can see everything I need in just a glance. It syncs immediately and keeps my custom colors, a requirement for this many calendars. Easy to make or change events, too.

Really!!!! Test the app before you release update. I think I will look for new calendar app for my iPhone.

Search mechanism used to be slow - now non-functional

This app has lots of good features, as they will tell you. I have used it for about 4 years. The main weakness has been a very slow search engine - compared to other apps which could search 10 years of data in a few seconds, it would take 20 seconds. Now it simply won't find things. Frustrating when you know you have an appointment but cannot remember the day. Fortunately iCal will search for me...

Edited 9/6/16: The recent update seems to have fixed the problem described below. It's nice to see that they are staying on top of things and promptly fixing problems. It's a great app that I use daily. After the last update there's an annoying glitch where if you start your entry with a number (1030-doctor appointment for example) it adds the first number in some strange header window that I've never understood. The trouble is it adds it again where you are typing the text. The result is that it says 11030. Super annoying! I've never figured out how to get back to that header field to get rid of anything. You can't see the field when you are initially entering info. I used to only have this problem when I entered an emoji as the 1st character. It looks like it was entered twice. Please fix this or give some explanation or tutorial!

New update WIPES your data!!! BEWARE!

Do not use if you like your data. Newest update wiped every single previous and current appointment out of my calendar. Unretrievable. Stupid app!!!
