This app often fails to read web pages. It will just spin as it appears to be downloading but never starts to read the text. I have the problem on most web pages. This app is not worth your time.

The new update makes this app unless. The apps old voices are higher quality then the voices available from Apple. The speech driver from the old app was better with pronunciation.

Bring back the original voices, Chris! The female one, especially, was the best out there. Otherwise, I couldn't agree more with the previous reviewer--this new v3.00 is indeed useless. Along with PodBlaster, Web Reader USED TO BE my favorite app, allowing me to turn any pdf into a pleasant-sounding audiobook. And BTW, who cares about download size anyway?

At the time of writing this I see there are a few reviews saying this app does not work. I just downloaded it this morning because I wanted a text to speech browser. This app is fantastic! It is simple and easy to use. I love the fact that I can go to any portion of the text and press play and it will start from there and read the rest of the news article that I am reading from the browser. It also does a great job starting from the title of the page and reading the text of the page. Great app! Thank you for creating it. It is a great blessing to me.

The app reads nothing out loud. Not even its own information page. It can access the internet and find other pages but nothing produces sound when it says its reading.

I truly use a 4s. It is upgraded only as Apple has updated, and I'm still hanging in. I don't upload many apps. For memory sake and I use my phone for news and Comm. I purchased this app. and it uploaded very quickly. I do not like complicated either, and it is not. Simply copy the Url and paste! It was to fast, I paused. Went to settings and slowed down the speech, which is dummy proof easy. Done! It works fine. It does not pronounce every word exact, but you can certainly understand the text, and that is the main purpose. I feel sorry for the early reviews, as I think the developers have earned my business by improving their app. I would give it five, if not for some of the pronunciation issues, which again, don't interfere with its purpose or intent. Props. To the developers for sticking with it! Fine job. Would recommend. Sincerely, Q
Great app, but ads making it crash

This app is excellent and normally works fine, but now there are video ads that show up and crash the app. If it doesn't get fixed I'm gonna have to delete it and find something else. It's seriously irritating.
