Latest version too buggy

Been using waze for a year, mainly for traffic and alerts. My phone has iOS 10.3. Downloaded Waze 4.33 and it keeps saying it can't connect even though location services is on AND it crashes each time it tries to 'connect'. I wish I could go back to the earlier version.
Latest update missing features

I've liked Waze for a long time and use it daily. It's especially useful in my urban area where traffic can be unpredictable. But it seems that the developers have overreached in this latest version -- it would be great to say "Ok, Waze" and use voice commands, but when I enabled that option, it seems to override the option to pause spoken audio (like podcasts), which used to work in the old version (and in this version before I enabled "Ok,Waze." Also, it changed my navigation voice to Santa without prompting me, which would have been bad enough, but that also caused voice directions not to work at all. When I tried to switch back to my previous voice selection, I discovered that none of the voices included speech synthesis for street names, which used to work in the previous version as well. Overall, this version upgrade was a huge step backwards for Waze.

I’m using this app for the first time but I was amazed how accurate it was even when I thought it may not be possible.
Best Traffic/GPS app out there.

I ride a motorcycle and wish Waze would tell me which side of the road my destination is on, since I depend so heavily on the voice prompts. I love the speed gauge and post speed limit feature. I don’t know of another GPS app that shows you the posted speed limit in different areas. I love the notification you hear when you go 15% over the speed limit. Again, I really appreciate the auditory feedback, since I am on a motorcycle and can’t view my screen.
Version 4.3 has auto zoom issues

Usually when I’m stopped, the map is zoomed in all the way and then as I start to accelerate, the map will automatically zoom out to show more of the map. The problem with this version is that at about 35-40 MPH, the map zooms all the way in making the map virtually useless. I have to use manual zoom now, which isn’t the end of the world. This seems like a pretty simple fix, and someone just overlooked the code.
Last update missing feature

The last update was supposed to have the ability to set subscription roads in it. It doesn’t, but the back end at Waze is routing like the feature is there, so, now my exit on the PA turnpike seems to not exist to Waze.
When is Waze coming to CarPlay???

Love, love the app but sadly almost at the end of 2017 there’s still no Waze for CarPlay!!! When will this awesome app coming? Don’t you think it’s about time with the prevalence of more and more cars like my Hyundai that come with CarPlay?
